Yeah, the translation was wrong. "800 meter tilbage" can both mean 800 m left and 800 m return (round-trip). The way it was translated, didn't make sense.

@@CombatReadyHQ "My war" is a 4 episode documentary series from Denmark. Look at the channel i linked below, he has all 4 parts with English translation. I would recommend a KZread channel called "Metziker" www.youtube.com/@Metziker/videos He specialized in scandinavian war documentaries about afghanistan. Here you will see Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finish and Icelandic documentaries with english translations. Great video about the Danish Huntsmen corps

The backpacks and LBE are in the old Danish M/84 pattern. The Danish Defence switched to Multicam back in 2014 (although SF might have been using it a bit longer) but a lot of older gear is still used for conscripts and training.
SF do not win wars. Interesting training though.
