Johnny Ringo Gun Spinning From Tombstone / The Star Burst Spin | Fancy Gun Spinning Tricks

Ойын-сауық

Whether you’ve seen it in the movie Tombstone where Johnny Ringo performs it in front of Doc Holliday or you just know of it by the name, The Star Burst spin, today we are looking into it. Take your hand and place it with you palm out and your fingers up. Then point your index finger at the wall in front of you. That’s the position your hand will be in for the vast part of this gun spinning trick! The rest you’ll have to watch and see how it’s done!

sidenote: in tombstone, Ringo doesn't grab the gun before reversing direction, he does a "Momentum stall", where he lets the gun lose momentum naturally then reverses the momentum as it stalls, never closing his hand around the gun in the process. this version is even more likely to cause you to drop your gun as a beginner, but once you get the hang of the version in this vid, you can start trying that for a little added flourish.

That's a peach of a spin.😎 Naturally, I stink at spinning guns, so I won't even try. It would be like a train wreck!😨 I'll just watch you spin and call it good. 👍 I'm off to my nephew's house to teach him how to load ammunition with 19th century loading tools. That's what I'm good at I guess.

@@SaintAndrewTV Thanks Andrew! We cast bullets in "God's caliber", and even some that weren't 45 Colt.😂 Then we loaded with my many old Ideal/Lyman 310 tong tools. He loaded so many 45 Colt rounds I got dizzy just watching it!😵 And I gave my nephew's son a Heritage Rough Rider 6 1/2" revolver with the 22mag cylinder included as a graduation present for finishing college. The lad was tickled pink!👍 Yup, I may not spin worth a hoot but I still shoot strait and teach how to load ammunition with style. It was a great day.😁

@@shane4663 it is a colt SAA which is single action. The trigger is disengaged unless the hammer is cocked. Chances are that the spinning was just included in the movie for dramatic effect, but unless the hammer is cocked, you can fire the gun by just pulling the trigger.
