I’ve always thought this but I think Johnny would make a really good friend. He’s so introspective and well-spoken and he listens really well too. He seems so easygoing and chill. He actually acts his age and it’s really charming.

52 minutes of pure johnny suh. I genuinely love how he articulates himself, his outlook in life. Somehow he can just convince you to be more confident in your own skin and to look at the positive things in life. He has that ability to make you feel so safe. I need more platforms for him to speak. Thank you Eric for inviting him. ❤️

11:55 this is one of the rare times to see Johnny this vulnerable and open about sharing his concerns.. behind the strong, confident, funny and witty persona there's a just an ordinary kid that anybody can relate to. thank you Johnny for believing in yourself and the pple around you, and most importantly for not giving up.

It's nice that Johnny was able to "rant" to Eric. It must be difficult to be one of the eldest nct members and no one to confide with.😔 Eric is such a good senior and hyung to him.💚

Johnny's long SM back story shows the agency does have plans for long-time trainees like him. Really appreciate how Mama Suh also made sure he had a balanced childhood, finishing school before formal training. ❤❤❤

Hearing Johnny explain how learning Korean when he was in middle-school still impacts his personality when speaking Korean makes SO MUCH SENSE. He really does have natural aegyo, and he gets SO OFFENDED when he tries babygirl/maknae vibes and his younger members don’t approve 😂 It also reeeeally helps further explain his adorable relationship with his only hyung, Taeil 🥺🥲

The moment of Johnny talking about debating going to college but ultimately ending up still trying for debut because he felt needed by people was so sweet and genuine.

i love johnnys honesty about his trainee days. it must have been so hard. we are thankful you debuted and are a part of nct ♡

I really like Johnny’s personality. At first he seems so intimidating but the more I watch videos of him, he seems so nice and with the way he interacts with NCT members, he’s always supportive and generous to give compliments.

It's interesting that no one has tried to cast Johnny in an acting role in any shows in Korea. I feel like he has great potential for that. Like, he checks at the boxes for acting.

“People has this need to be needed” I felt that in my COREE whewww. I have a new found love and respect for Johnny after watching this and I learned more about him too🥹💚

I really love these type of podcasts and when English kpop stars actually do interviews in English. It may be just me but these type of interviews are so much more raw, authentic, and relatable. Like I've been a czennie for a few years now and this is the most personal I think I've seen Johnny express out of every interview he's done in the past. It's nice to see their more human side rather than always asking them to do aegyo and shit. I hope they can bring Mark into this next 1 on 1.

i’m replying late but i also noticed it’s because we get to see more of their personality through their english. like i mean through nuances in speech, word choice, and small things like that which we aren’t able to catch onto when they speak korean (because we don’t understand it lol). mistranslations through subtitles happens all the time and i feel like we miss out on a lot of witty stuff idols say because it’s difficult to translate it in english. whereas with english speaking idols, we can catch onto everything. and yeah i wish more korean interviews were more personal because it’s much more endearing getting to learn more about idols beyond the surface level aegyo and mbti lol

I love seeing Johnny's interviews and how he answers qns. He doesn't rush through or give superficial answers just for the sake of answering. He takes his time to think. He's sincere, witty, funny and always keeps the conversation interesting. Yet he didn't overtake the whole convo, he gave time for Eric to express and share, it was a 2 way convo and I can see both seriously enjoyed it. Thank u for having Johnny!

Johfams, we made it - an solo hour long episode with Johnny. I've been waiting for Johnny to appear on dive, so i'm glad it finally happened. Also, i'm glad Eric and Johnny are friends they seem to click well.

Johnny is very composed, cool but grounded, fun but also well articulated. This is just such a comfort episode. Can't wait for bigger and brighter things ahead of him!

It really hit close to home when he said "There were people that want me here, so it's not like I've been doing something wrong the whole time." just that feeling of unsureness and feeling like you just can't get it right, along with all the questions and doubts you have within yourself is really relatable esp rn so it made me extra emotional. I'm really glad those feelings made it through to him and inspired him to keep going, cause being able to see Johnny is such a blessing

Johnny has such a presence that it's impossible to not be smitten. (Also, it's interesting how he inadvertently revealed the members' personality traits playing the pick the person game.)

Speaking of Smitten the last question I believe was somewhat difficult because Doyoung and Taeil are his biases just like they are my Wreckers (Johnny is my bias), their interactions seem so pleasant. He’s really smitten.

Thanks for having Johnny on the show. I've always loved watching his interviews, both group and solo ones. He's funny, charismatic, witty and knows how to handle questions. His way of speaking and presenting himself is just so mesmerizing, def one of the reasons I became an nctzen 💚

13:07 I've been a johfam since the moment i started to stan nct, and i genuinely cant even imagine him not debuting, not being an idol, johnny has such a powerful and exciting presence on stage. I'm glad he decided to try one more time and it makes me excited to what he has for the future!

I'm so happy for him and thank you for having him. As a Johfam, this is my first time hearing him talk this long. It's purely him. All the focus is him which is rare when he works with 20 people. I get to know different aspects of johnny. It just proved that I stan the right person

Hearing/watching them talking is so interesting. It feels like a two friends catching up together and not just doing it for promotion. Johnny is so well spoken and very thoughtful. You'll never get tired of hearing him talk. He could be one of the co host of DIVE.

NCT is one of my ultimate bias group since 2016. Looking at Johnny here double confirm what I have thought all along......his features are more to American instead of Asian. Handsome Johnny. I really love this video because it's the most well-interviewed Johnny video that I've ever seen on KZread. I mean, he has been featured in several videos before, but those videos only talked about his group or SM-related things. I just want a video that focuses on Johnny and I think it's the thing that I wanted.
