Whilst they sing predominantly in Chinese, they have songs in Korean, are in a Korean entertainment company and were formed as Kpop trainees in a kpop system, live, perform and typically promote in Korea, speak Korean, are each Kpop idols. They are both kpop and cpop. Ten calls them global for this reason, but they’re still part of the kpop discourse.

They're not C-Pop, they're K-Pop, usually based on the company and country in which they debut. They appeared on a Korean entertainment program where the group's introduction was that they were K-pop artists with no Korean members.​@@LIUSKAEditz8410

I’m so happy to see proper international interviewers that actually know what they’re talking about while interacting with them. More shows need to be like this, THIS is how it should be

WayV has SOOOO MUCH PONTENTIAL! All of them speak English, they are so talented and charismatic and have a such a good chemistry with each other. I adored this interviews and the girls were treating them so well, being so nice and enthusiactic. They need that. They need to feel that they are loved.

Bond like theirs can't be faked. They are emotionally and mentally in sync already. Most groups who train a lot to be in sync in performance naturally develop a special bond and WayV is pretty much the same, just that they are wittier and funnier and the members are around the same wavelength.

Yangyang had a beautiful smile!

When Kun started speaking Korean in an English interview while he's Chinese 😂 I love how we get to see the interviewers' reactions. An YangYang didn't lie when he said main character vibe!

WayV has no filter but they never cross the line where a member is truly hurt or uncomfortable, other groups can't relate, this is family 💚

Now this is a great interview. The hosts and production chimed in. As well as WayVs crazy good English and interaction. I could watch this forever. All the members seem so comfortable and open.

I really think WayV should be global grup.. Its not like cpop is not good for them, but since they're under Korean Company, its hard for them to promote more in China.. They should go as global grup and realese english album and i believe they would be bigger than they're rn.. Not to mention almost all members are bilingual..

When TEN said they still have a lot of things coming out it just dawned on me that yeah they will continue to promote coz tbey don't have to enlist. Haha! This gives WayV an edge over other groups. I seriously wish more and more success for them coz for me they are my fave NCT unit. They just have amazing chemistry and are all visuals.

The way everyone is speaking English so well. I’m proud of my babies. They have grown so much. I remember when they just debuted.

The company is spread across many countries and has many subsidiary companies and Yangyang has an older sister he's the only son. It's possible that Yangyang is the heir of ADLINK, so he didn't answer because he didn't want to show off. He chose to become an Idol because he dreamed of being on stage when he was in a coma.

I am absolutely LIVING for WayV English era. Somehow they manage to have even less filter. I absolutely died when Hendery said: "The magic of alcohol" XD I still can't believe that I was finally able to see them live! One of the best evenings in my life and I appreciate so much that they did the entire concert in English. Shout-out to Kun's effort to improve his English skills! Massive respect to the best leader! We are so proud of him! These are our multilingual kings ❤️ Stan, love and support WayV forever! I hope they will conquer the rest of Europe soon as well! Germany is waiting for you, Yang Yang! 😉

6:03 Ten tapping Kun to signal that no actually Yangyang cried more times in front of them, they're so Parents if that even makes sense hfjdjd also Kun saying that he always sits next to Ten during flights that's like the biggest biggest TMI for me 😭 I'd put Kun in Revenclaw - he's very skilled and always sees to it that he learns new things. Hendery, for me, is a Hufflepuff, he's just out there helping his members in his own, quiet ways. Yangyang a Slytherin along with Xiaojun and Ten. TenYang are the mischievous duo, they make their own way to get what they want. Xiaojun loves the spotlight and flourishes in it. Winwin isn't here but I'd say he's also a Ravenclaw with his artistic skills in dance and acting. He's very creative.

I remember Xiaojun saying that Yangyang is a good listener and I can see that from how he holds/passes the mic for/to the other members and answers last. I think he even forgot to answer a couple of questions (He'd probably say he would be a racer if he wasn't in WayV! I wonder how the other members felt when they first met him...I guess, from what I know, very shy and quiet?) Also, as he said, I think he has gotten more emotionally expressive during and after their hiatus. He looks comfortable when sharing his vulnerabilities these days. 😊

When WayV did a Live talk during the fan meeting tour, it was funny when YangYang said his mother told him he said the word ‘Like…like…’ too much in conversations. It is good to see them able to travel now together.

One thing though, WayV gets amazing interviewers, the type who ask actual questions and do some research on the members, the type who freely engage with the members instead of being stiff and awkward. I love that for them cause there's so much more to our idols than doing kids songs and talking about whether they'd want a 5 year old version of a member or 5 copies of said member. Don't get me wrong, those things are cute but they don't need to be done across several interviews for multiple years.
