Well the thing is this wasn't a criminal trial for abuse, this was a defamation trial, so proving that she hit him, while it does prove her a liar and an abuser, doesn't immediately prove that everything was a lie (It obviously was, but that's not the kind of nail in the coffin evidence here that it would've been in an abuse trial)

They didn't even "defame" her, as I understand defamation is a false declaration with intent to hurt the person's image. When it's the truth brought to the light, with material evidence to prove it - that's not defamation, no matter how bad it makes them look. On the other hand, Heard proved herself guilty of defamation, as she stated under oath (while him abusing her was already proven false) that she wrote the op-ed because of his popularity.

She mocks actual victims of DV (and worse). The trauma response you build as a defense mechanism can make you literally become so nervous that you'll shake from fear, you'll have chills, you cannot be physically present in the same area as them and you'll either freeze or run. The fact such happened shows she's a two-faced, manipulative, narcissistic liar. A big disservice and disrespect to those of us who actually went through that kind of thing. My abusers were/are "Ambers" of their own right. And they'll get so deep in their lies that they'll try to backtrack fast only to be called out on their lies - still, there may be those who'll believe these. So, when you go through something like this yourself you don't want to talk about it because most people won't believe, even worse if it's a man being abused by a woman, and especially if children are involved because there's the "I will look incapable of protecting them or weak as a man". So, you hide it. You grin and try to move on. In the moment of the abuse, you're caught in shock and pure disbelief, too. Like... of all people, it had to be you doing this to me? You should never have to go through such a thing, especially from someone you gave your heart to or should be able to trust with your life. As if it isn't enough, most people will even try to invalidate or guilt trip the victim, too.

I little bit of what I've gathered since (mind you this is months after the fact and I going on no -sleep brain, so I might be a bit off), Elane and Rottenborn were really the only two who were working on compiling everything together. However, Elane's field of work specializes on settling cases so they don't go to court, and apparently she's very good at it, but when it didn't settle she was kept on to defend Amber so it forced her to learn fast on court proceedings. This essentially put even MORE pressure on Rottenborn because he was the only one who knew what he was doing, so his mind was being dragged through the wringer. I honestly pity both of these lawyers. I don't like how they handled things or were rude/disrespectful to others, but taking in everything and trying to understand their positions in the matter in regards to Ambers character, it makes a lot of sense so I can't accurately say that's how they are IRL. Plus, after Amber fired Elane, and Elane not even hesitating to strike when interviewed about her unemployed status, I think it's somewhat say they don't like or agree with Amber.

"dID I rEad tHAt rIGhT" has me cracking up🤣🤣
I could have sworn she testified she wanted Johnny to look at her! Now she's running from him! "You're not scared of him at all, are you Ms Heard!!!"
Her acting on the stand, when she was saying about not wanting to leave him even though he hit her, was so bad and over the top that it actually hurt to watch. 10:50
The fact of the 1:30 he went closer to her and she was acting scared 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🥲😅😄😆😃😀😁

I’m convinced Ambers lawyers were hired by Johnny I mean they Deadass did a terrible job to be fair it’s hard defending someone like Amber

Lawyers defend their clients based on the evidence their clients have and also the oppositions' presented evidence. Amber Heard faked about everything, the Lawyers were left in shambles.

Johnny depp saying something : everyone 😂 :amber talking :everyone 😐
I can't get over the fact that part of their "strategy" was to literally just read out the headlines of _boulevard press articles._
The fact this person went out of their way to make this a meme series is amazing XD
I hope he gonna win that ❤

I think the jury watched this video, considering it's 15 minutes long and Depp won 15 mil...
I feel so bad for Johnny for having to go through this. I just wanna hug him the whole trial :(
I could tell Johnny was gonna win regardless of how good his lawyers were simply by how bad Heards were. That being said, his lawyers were insanely good, hats off to his team.
Rewatching these and the part where Johnny gave Marilyn Manson a pill to make him stop talking so much still gets me everytime. Its such a Marilyn Manson and Johnny Depp thing to do. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
hitting's definition is: *, bring one's hand or a tool or weapon into contact with (someone or something) quickly and forcefully.* punching's definition is: *, strike with the fist.* Hitting is just more of a general term for hurting someone with your hand or something. While punching is more a specific term. So technically, punching can be replaced with hitting.
if you've ever asked "are Amber's lawyers dumb?" its not even a question

“Did I read that right?” Jonny’s reaction to that got me rolling every time
That's funny when Johnny gets punched and says something about it he's a baby but when she does a whole act about him supposedly hitting her and abusing her she breaks down acting crying she's not a baby she don't need to grow up, somebody's a little hypocritical I cannot stand a liar, in the dictionary next to the word liar they should have Amber heard's picture right next to that word.

They always try say stuff to catch him out and say “HAH YOU SAID IT” and it’s honestly disgusting. If the only way they can win is by confusing him then they are evidently in

Also, I laugh every time I hear the Heard woman telling Johnny to ‘grooooooooow the fuuuuuuuuuck uuuuuup’ and calling him a baaaaaaaybeeeeeeeeeeee in a whiney toddler voice, the irony is wonderful 😂
Ironic that Amber Turd's team would call out hearsay so much, when their entire testimony is based on almost entirely hearsay.

So on the audio she tells Johnny to grow up for not tolerating being punched but then he mentions leaving the abusive situation and she says hes the bigger person. 😂😂😂 what a clown
From the way Ambers lawyers couldn't even ask relevant questions you could tell they knew she was the bad guy.
Oh my God I'm dead LOL when Ben Chew has his middle finger up oh my God I'm crying 😂
Ik you might disagree, and I am not on Amber's team, but I believe that having to be Amber's lawyer is quite hard when the one you are working for keeps lying and I believe that the lawyers are also trying to sabotage Amber by doing a bad job. It is really hard to become a lawyer, so I believe they didn't just snap their fingers and became one😂😂
Heard Lawyer:"Objection Heresay." Judge: "You asked the question." Heard Lawyer: "Ableh, Ableh, Ableh that's all folks!"
6:46 AND SHE EVEN STATES THAT SHE HIT HIM SMH
I love it how even Ambers lawyer laughed with Johnny @10:03
The only person I hear when Johnny Depp speaks is Captain Jack Sparrow, and that's when you know you've made a GREAT character, but it's also cool Depp won since the body language Amber had was looking like a liar, even though I might be late to this, whatever.
I have to admit, that lawyer is an INCREDIBLE reader!!! I laughed, I cried, I waited in suspense to see how he would finish, but never wanted it to end. Sorry Morgan Freeman 😔 There's a new GOAT, brain wise.
The lawyer objecting to himself was a panic move because he didn’t like the answer. I swear her lawyers get out of a clown car.
When he said my cat the First thing that popped up my head was this is what happens when a unfunny person tries to be funny 😄

I almost feel bad for the guy I always wanna laugh when people tell bad jokes to make them feel good, but Rottenborn was kind of an ass for helping Amber
what we learned from this video: amber heard is a TERRIBLE ACTRESS
No victim of abuse that gets free is ever gonna refer to their abuser as the best thing that ever happened to them afterwards. She speaks in half-truths and would probably pass a poly. I'd love to have 10min with her.
If the rumors about who paid Amber's legal team are true, then Elon must have laughed his ass off telling everyone how he got the worst attorneys in the world to represent her..
Johnny is 20 lawyers into one person
i dont know much about the case, but from what i have gathered, she's just dumb to still fight when all the evidences are against her
OMG I have not seen the clip of her backing away from Johnny as if she's scared of him until now, wtf was that?!? I got second-hand embarrassment from seeing it, that was soo cringe!!
