I love this man. He took the plate given him by life -- dysfunctional family, abusive and unloving mother, and served up to the rest of us everything he had in him, all of his beauty, natural talent for art, music, and acting. He is beyond great.

I’ve noticed that he’s different here than in the newer videos from his uk tour. He’s all covered and hidden with his clothes. I think he’s really damaged form amber and it’s going to take him time to get his confidence back. It’s heart breaking

My brother died of an accidental overdose. His last words were to his addicted, mentally unstable, abusive ex-wife (whom he was still trying to help) were in a text message as he was, yet again, fleeing her. "What do you want (from me). Just leave me alone!" THANK YOU MR. DEPP, for having the courage and STRENGTH to fight to bring the matter of the abuse perpetrated upon men, to the fore. Thank you, thank you!!!!!

I LOVE that Alice is there supporting his friend. Not that I didn't love him already, but he picks my all time favorite singer to cover. RESPECT!!!!

Jonny is a super multi talented artist, apart from that he's very charismatic, handsome good looks, empathy, and a strong sense of justice, this combination is rare which makes JD a very special kind of human. Great video. I also love the one where he plays 'society' with pearl jam.

My God, another blind little fan girl that gets all giddy seeing he little celebrity crush sing horribly, play guitar like a hack, buying into the publicity appearances as being Gandi like noble and blindly unsees the long history of hard drug use, irrisponsible chronic drinking binges with destructive behavior, abusive treatment/controlling women and narcissism, thinking she knows the guy after seeing a few interviews and victimization in a court hearing. Yup, he's a good actor and a good looking guy, but that's about all any person who doesn't know him personally and knows him well can honestly say he's a good or bad guy and I highly doubt that you are one of those people. However, "mistakes" are mistakes, and intentions are not mistakes. Intentions are an individuals desire of a certain result. The evidence to me shows that he neither had intentions, motivation, and/or made a mistake in this case.

He is so badass. Imagine how busy his concerts will be when the court stuff is finished.

I just pray for him to find true peace from his mental demons from the damage inflicted upon him as a child and young adult. He deserves AT LEAST that, and so much more.

Johnny Depp is a true superstar. One of the most talented, if not THE most, actors of his generation. His body of work speaks for itself over the last 30 plus years. Add onto that his work as a musician and artist and he more than deserves his place as an icon. First time I became aware of his musical talent was hearing his slide guitar on the 1997 Oasis track Fade In Out. A living legend 👍

Ok I've never listened to anything Johnny Depp has done musically, I just had no interest. I don't know why. Now having been curious (because of yeah.. everything) I just heard (jesus how I wish I didn't need to use THAT particular word) this AMAZING rendition of Heroes! Bloody hell, Johnny sings this SO WELL!! Off I go to see what else this talented man has done in music.

Agreed, this video popped up because… anyway, I dare say, reminds me of a young Bono. Man, imagine if he did get the chance to pursue music all those years ago. His voice is really good now, makes me wonder what could have been. All the music potentially missed. Always had a ton of respect for him as an artist and now even more so.

@@gothic_angel She gives woman a bad name, really there seems to be no boundaries or principles about her at all. Her EI seems to still be at 8 years old. I haven't watched this for long, just a few days. But it makes my blood boil that she just seems to keep getting away with it. Guys just keep picking up her tab. I don't think JD will get back to where he was, because too much of his lifestyle is now out to the public and the companies won't risk it, even if she falls. Terrible what she has done. I heard yesterday that they are changing Johnny face in all the movies too. Boy they will feel real stupid after all this.
