How about it raising the awareness of how manipulative sociopaths capitalize on the warped perception of men always being the abuser? Everyone is always ready to jump on the "aww poor victim" train but cases where people are caught lying about abuse just kinda get ignored. That eagerness to jump on the "victim's" side has probably sent plenty of innocent people to jail. One way an abuser get off but is outed and scrutinized more at the least. The other way an innocent person's life is ruined and they are wrongly imprisoned and/or made to pay millions from a civil lawsuit.

Try divorce court as a man. Luckily im on the opposite spectrum but can really empathize with most divorced men. It was a hell of a battle for me and its definitely too late, im already disappointed. I do get support and only have to send my boy there every other weekend and one night a week. Thanks to the fairly unbiased judges i dealt with here in Canada 🇨🇦

A lot of soft hearted men, like I used to be, get abused just like this. I went through 6 years of it. Listening to Johnny in this testimony gave me chills because it reminded me so much of my ex and how she was. How she would scream and tell me how horrible of a person I am, how I deserved for my parents to die, break all my stuff, throw things at me and hit me. And then tell me that I deserved it all and everything was my fault. Part of me still believes that. Maybe I could have done things different. I did engage in a lot of verbal arguments with her when i shouldn't have. But deep down I know that I didn't deserve the abuse. I hope Johnny gets justice in this trial and can move on with his life and his career.

He's not being charged with anything, It's a civil case for defamation which he is the plantiff in (i.e., he has brought charges against her for falsely misrepresenting events, which has had a negative financial impact on him), she has counter-sued but it has nothing to do with criminal domestic battery (and someone could be convicted of domestic battery and still win a civil defamation case for example), there is no such thing as being 'found guilty' in a civil court. If the jury rules in favour of the plaintiff, he will be awarded the amount filed in the case (which will be subsequently reduced) and the defendant will be ordered to pay his legal fees.

As soon as I heard the allegations against Johnny Depp I didn’t believe them. Mainly because I didn’t want to. But I’m so happy he is winning the case.

I just find it insanely funny how Amber basically bought this on herself. She did NOT want cameras in the courtroom but Johnny fought like hell to have them in the court. I'm guessing she thought it would be a done deal telling her side of the story with no cameras but when she found out the cameras were allowed, oh she was pissed. Now all of her lies are crumbling one by one. Excellent job Amber, you've repeated your court date in 2016 except this time, it's much much worse and potentially costing you up to 200 million, great job.
