My mom was pretty violent against me. I remember one particular time when I was a teen she slapped me hard across the face and I turned to look at her… that’s how I would describe it. We were face-to-face yet when she slapped me, it caused my face to turn toward the right (she would slap me on the left cheek with her right hand). When you are slapped hard on the cheek or somewhere on the side of the face, the momentum causes your face to turn. So, to confront your attacker you need to turn your face back toward front. As much as I think AH is a horrible vindictive, manipulative person, I have to say that this is a plausible reaction to being slapped when being directly in front of someone, facing them.

Encyclopedia Brown has solved the case! She could not have turned to face him after being slapped across the face if she was already facing him to begin with.

Literally love Johnny Depp & the way he (and his legal team) are dealing with this. The stress is off the scale but he's kept his sense of humour. He's won in the court of public opinion! I know there's a petition going around to get AH dropped from Aquaman but in my opinion they should have dropped her the day the voice recording was heard in court of her saying 'I was not punching you,I was hitting you' ... one rule for men & another rule for women is not fair. Everything you’ve said X 10!! The tape of her saying the “not punching/hitting” thing is the least of the tapes Now! I’ve heard so many, and it’s disgusting! Christina Randall played one that I haven’t heard before.. it was with Amber literally berating Johnny over his career choices like Jumpstreet, among a lot of other things. You can tell she was using things he’d told her in confidence to rip him apart. This is NOT. A woman in fear of this man! He was staying calm, which seems to be what sets her off! It’s so hard to listen to her with her nasty, condescending legal team! It’s like she hired all people who are awful like she is! Dr Hughes was just as bad!

Amen! Nobody deserves to be accused or lied about to any degree, let alone to the degree it has serious Consequences that could ruin your life because another is being controlled & made into a puppet by their own anger or outta spite! I couldn’t agree more with your comment! Nobody has any right to ever put hands on another for any reason unless self defence of course.
