As you can see the Cover of his first American Recordings in the background it is short after his first work with Rick Rubin. He is in quite a good shape here. His voice is strong and rich and his performance is flawless. A pleasure to listen to.

​@@JCInfocenter I'm just wondering if they added "Hurt" later on? In some kind of maybe memorial edit, I guess. It was released in 2002, as far as I know, so there's no way it could've been shown in that episode around 1994.

@@Shynos you're correct. But the footage at Jools was shot in 94. And yes this is a memorial edit. I'll change it in the title. Thanks for the mention.

An outstanding artist in a perfect performance. He was in very good form at that time. Shortly before in June he performed at the Glastonbury Festival - one of my favorite Johnny Cash concerts.
