Johnny Cash is an American folk hero, like Paul Bunyan or Davy Crockett. His music is omnipresent in rural America and Canada. His relevance stands the test of time. Contemporaries, like Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis are slowly fading away, but Johnny Cash is still a staple, and always will be. He wrestled with his demons, and emerged victorious. Don't mourn; his life, music, and strength of character, all deserve to be celebrated! He lived long, hard and fast, and returned to the earth for a well deserved reprieve from a life well lived. RIP Mr. Cash, thank you for your music, and for your message.

You tube has a live version I walk the line dated 1958. The announcer said. He's a great musician and a better man. He's been around for awhile and will be around for long time. Ipil did that know how true his words were Before my parents adopted my sister and I, our dad toured with some big names. Cash was one. We broke bread together many times. Dad waa the president of rough motorcycle club. Johnny walked in as if he was a member. He was treated like a member. I have my dads Indian motorcycle with the car shifter. Johnny loved that bike. Theyd ride to another club, my job was to drop off a sober member in 64 Mustang. I rode the bike back home, he was dropped off at our home in the Mustang. All you could smell was burned rubber from the car on him. The only time we had the opportunity to see dad on stage he played with Highway Men. No other profession can party harder then musicians, I traveled with the best for 5 years. I resigned in the middle of a tour, checked into a rehab. 32 yrs of living one day at a time Peace

Johnny Cash is such a great person, always, who speaks from the heart. What a great clean shave & Angel white hair for him….he’s seen lots of things in his life, his spirit is strong, & he shared “the truth” with us in his music always. Johnny Cash doesn’t deal with anything but the truth in his music, he sings the Gospel truth only always, & his good life ….and his true heart..cannot be changed, always, regardless of all always, man. And in 2023. I remember Johnny Cash from my earliest days in the early 60s. We played music stations in the house then, all day so, without trying, the canon of the best pop & rock was tattooed into me from pre-school to the start of secondary education. By the early 1970s, something had changed in our house and it was silent. Not long after that, I was orphaned. Half a century passed, then Jesus called me and I stood up, grateful to be of service and to have been granted a second shot at being a better man. Thank you, Mr Cash.

He knew that life was about choices, consequences, and accountability. God bless his soul for everything he did for all of us

ABSOLUTELY! HIS MUSIC TELLS IT FACTUALLY! IT IS WHAT IT IS, LIFE!
My hero he was the best,God used him in a heartbreaking way,he is missed

He’s got all kinds of strength in his voice, always. Thanks John.🎵🎼❤️🌈📀🔒🔐🇺🇸🏳️
