Will forever love this song! was played at my Nana's funeral which I couldn't attend. She was in the UK & we all live in Australia 🦘

This will be also played at my brother's Memorial Service. Even though my brother was Melbourne through-and-through, he became a permanent resident of Bali and passed way in his own beloved tropical garden. This song gave my Mum so much connection while he was away for 4.5 years, and it is her request that it is to be played at my brother's service in Melbourne. As we play this song, friends and family will be placing a flower in a water bowl, as an expression of both their grief and love, and honour a beautiful, gentle man. Thank you John Williamson, for expressing what my Mum cannot and being her words, at her son's Memorial.

This song is such a great and fitting tribute to the victims of the Bali bombing. Although I am English, I have been a fan of John Williamson for many years. I have been lucky enough to have visited Australia many times, travelled all over the country and been to most if not all the areas he talks About in his songs. This song is certainly one of his best and I hope he continues to write Songs for many years to come.

This is THE most emotional song I have ever heard - perfectly written and played ..

My grandad died and this was his favourite song, this was played at his funeral in Tasmania and this helps remember him.

The best version of this song on KZread was a duet by Williamson with another guitarist named Col. I think it was a union concert. It seems to have been deleted?

My dad passed away this morning after a long illness. Even though it wasn't unexpected it is still upsetting. Nothing much is making me smile today. I was listening to this song on my laptop and it makes me feel better about his passing even though I wasn't really close to him.
