The way these two support each other both on and off the floor is phenomenal. Definitely this year’s strongest partnership in my opinion and they are SO well matched. They also look incredible dancing together. John’s confidence goes up week on week and he is producing some stunning routines and this was no exception, their best yet. He is such a nice guy as well and always humble. Would love to see him go far :)

@@kingtwig1716 he's Said it himself so there goes that theory. I said professional training. Any dance training gives them the core skills and an advantage and it's why he's this year's ringer. Speaking to the Daily Star, he disclosed: “Between 10 and 14 I did ballet, modern, and tap.” As for the arguing BOTH have said they argue a lot but it seems to be stopping now. So.... you were wrong on both accounts. It's not gossip if they said it themselves.

They were perfect! Total synchronicity! You would never know only one was a pro dancer. It was like they were swashbuckling, but with dance rather than swords ⚔! Johannes is a personal favourite of mine anyway. This early on, the level is insane!

Johannes’s star is shining this year. His choreography so far has been amazing. This pairing is outstanding, John must have been a dancer in a previous life. Absolutely stunning performance, I could watch these to dance all night. Fabulous.

@@bristolrugby08 No, Johanes killed it. Loook at Johanes's line and sharp turn. John runs out of stamina and Johanes had to drag him a little in the middle of the performance. For me he had more intensity and he was more focus on his last week performance.

My son has a learning disability and wasn't really paying attention when I watched strictly last night, but when this dance came on he was glued to the screen and afterwards he clapped, cheered and gave me a high five. We rewatched it three or four times. Brilliant dance.

I think Johannes may be one of my favorite dancers of all time. His dancing is amazing, and he seems so generous with his partners.

Agreed, he is generous and intelligent. It shows in his choreography and the way he teaches his partner. The two other pro dancers I admire for their teaching are Kai and Graziano.

I do actually think these two can win this. There is something that just draws your eye and engages you. John has no idea how good he is does he?

I never expected John to be as good as he has been to be honest. They're certainly the favourites to win but as we all know, one bad week could see them in the dance off and from there anything could happen

I was in AWE throughout the entire performance. This is week 3 and he's getting a perfect critique. Incredible performance, best of the night

Johannes gives everything in his choreography and is humble. He is amazing.

Craig had no critique, gutted this wasn’t a 40. Probably one of the best dances in strictly history. I hope they win.

I don’t think I will ever get bored watching this. They are so in sync. It was just beautiful. And best still, they rendered Craig speechless.

John, AJ, Rose, Rhys. For me, these four are amazing. This year is tough to call.

I'm really not convinced about Rhys. He did well this week as he is trained in street dance, but I thought his previous ballroom and latin dances were awkward-looking and jerky. He needs to realise that moving fast does not mean moving well.

I do agree with the fact that Rhys is probably the least refined of the 4 listed, but I think because of his energy, he stands a very good chance to be able to channel that into a dancer who would be comparable to Karim. With that, I think if the folks listed above are going to be going far into the competition, so long as they are able to sustain the trajectory that they are following, and that's the hard bit... 👍

This was perfection.

I love the pirate's theme and have seen many shows doing the tango or a Paso to it, but nothing like this. this was perfection, to the point, it blurred who was the professional and who was the amateur. John and Johannes to win the entire thing

This wasn’t just a dance, it was a beautiful sword fight. Choreographed to perfection, their energy and chemistry just make their dances an absolute joy to watch

Their chemistry is ELECTRIC!

Honestly, this is Broadway level great!!! The music, setting, costumes, lighting, partnership, power, drama, execution! You rocked 🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤

I have said for YEARS that this song(my fave song) would be PERFECT for a Paso and I have waited and waited for it to happen on Strictly and it did, with Peter Andre and he flopped it. It wasn't good and so disappointing. I think I cried because I've always wanted to see a DAMN GOOD paso danced to this song and.... THIS. THIS IS IT!!! Absolutely bloody perfect!! 👏👏👏👏

John is a fantastic dancer and something about this pairing is so tender and supportive I am filled with something akin to maternal pride watching them. Congratulations to both and keep going!

This was brilliantly choreographed - a paso is a fight, and a fight Johannes created! Beautifully danced by John and powerfully interpreted as a pair. Bravo!

It was show-stopping, jaw-dropping and eye popping Paso Doble. I predict you could win Strictly 2021.

*_OH MY GOD!!!_* I am a massive Paso Doble fan, it is my favourite dance style, and, no lie, John and Johannes have done the best Paso I have ever seen on Strictly ever! What a perfect way to close they show, they couldn't have chosen a better one! They almost got a 40 soooo soon and that would have been more than deserved. I almost cried. It moved me so much! John was everything Johannes wasnted to be, everything he said he wasn't. He was powerful, fierce strong, and very intense! There was so much creativity in this that came from the ability to switch roles. So much more that they could do. But so much more to learn. What a hard worker John is! Like, wow! He looked like a genuine pro. Completely in sync, he mimicked Johannes perfectly! Every move was danced and performed with perfection! I loved Catherine and Caroline, but John is absolutely his best partner. They have poured their hearts into these dances because they can truly be themselves. It really means a lot to them and it shows! God, it gave me chills! I have never been this touched by a Strictly dance that I can remember. I'm still thinking about it! This is what inspires dancers! What inspires me! It really is dances like these that make you wanna be the ones dancing. You can just feel all the emotions embodied, and you want that feeling. They truly embodied the Paso Doble. This had better go down in history!! Oh, John, he did himself so proud. This is a finals level dance. If he keeps this up, he could see himself in the finals.

This was an interesting take on a Paso, it was a battle and I'm here for it. Lovely strong lines, plenty of attack and the switching lead worked really well in the routine. John looked a bit stiff in his back, there were times where his shaping could have been improved, but dancing the Paso with this level of command, strength and commitment, is remarkable. I really enjoyed this.

This is one of my favourite Strictly Paso dobles ever. It has all the drama , intensity and passion that I look for and as a bonus they look great too.

John and Johannes plus AJ and Kai are my favourite couples but overall, this year is one of my favourite Strictly series because there’s no bad couples. Even though Judi doesn’t have technical skills and Ugo has zero rhythm, overall, every week the performances are just getting better. This performance was phenomenal 👏🏽👏🏽

Wow...amazing choreography!! Exciting dance moves, I like their outfits, their strong arms up like white swans, I absolutely love this!! Their romance should go on for a long long time, both are young and energetic! Kudos!!

Awesome - didn’t think I’d like this alternative approach to ballroom but by far the most striking and powerful routines have come from these two. It’s like two lead dancers creating a masterly display. I am only watching again on KZread cos it was so good. All three dances they have had so far have been phenomenal.

Fan-bloody-tastic... When a performance ends and u just can't help but rewatch it again because you loved it.

Am so obsessed with these two, they are just brilliant!! BBC should just end the competition and award them the glitter-ball already!!

But it’s really not a performance that is deserving of all this praise. It was barely mediocre at best. The character of a Paso was missing, technique (obviously) wasn’t there. And the music composition of this version was just bad, it lacked energy as you’d expect for this particular pice of music. All in all of I were grading this Id give it a 5 I know the person isn’t a dancer, and so I am giving leniency on that, but for such pieces by people of similar skill level, there are more enjoyable performances to watch. Like ryker lynch. Though over all, I don’t find much enjoyment out of watching these shows, mainly because I know the effort that has to go into dancing and learning it, and it’s just not something that can be picked up and be at a professional level in a matter of weeks. It takes years of training

By far the best dance of the night. It was complete mesmerising & my wife told me I stopped breathing watching it. lol John is a good dancer but he's also very powerful & this dance showcased that perfectly. This is a match made in heaven.

I love that Johannes seems to be thriving this year, I loved him before but even more now! I don't know why this wasn't 40, Craig always says if a dance makes him put his pen down and watch then that's a 10 and he said he didn't write a thing so what more can they do???

I love him so much! One of the loveliest and humble people you couldn't meet! I was starstruck when I saw him earlier this year whilst shopping in Wembley. He was so lovely! Hope he wins! 🥰🥰🥰❤

I think it's because it's only week three and they need John to believe he can continue to improve. That way, he will, and he can have that knowledge that he can do better and then will train to be better. Can't call him perfect too early, or he won't improve.

@@goldenwitherphoenix1389 well they wouldn't be calling *him* perfect, just that one performance. He's said on ITT that Monday morning is back to square one in training.

This was amazing! Such power in the dancing! The synchronisation between them was spot on! At times it seemed like they were duelling rather than dancing. I love this so very much. Its definitely a MOOD
