I used to treat my husband like this because I had a bigger job than his and earned more than him , this went on and on and he almost left me, my husband is a believer in Christ , he would stay up till late reading his Bible and when I would go to work I would find him doing the dishes, after some time I watched this movie ...I broke down into years first of all because of the song "while am waiting" I felt unworthy before God and my husband for all the filth I had done. But I went on mi knees and prayed and also went to my husband Tonny , in his room, I found him crying in pain, I knew I was the root of his sadness... I asked him to forgive me and we started over ...we are now very happy with 2 twins Jane and Joash...praise be to God for this movie for the message it portrays..👏

I’m in the same boat. I have done so much damage to my wife. Yesterday was 10 years of us meeting and the 30th will be 10 years together. I’m walking with God again and I have to wait patiently for my wife to reunite me with God. I have done so much damage. I have messed with her spiritual life. Now I have to suffer my consequences and patiently wait.

Thank God for your humility to allow Holy Spirit to work in your life and to ask your husband to forgive you. January 2021 -- I'm actually eating my dinner alone while listening to some Christian songs. All of a sudden, I became emotional. It feels like I was talking to God, I noticed my tears dropping. I didn't even think that a Holy Spirit would speak to me even while I'm just eating and listening casually. I quickly finish my plate then go to my room to pray. Lord, I will still wait on you though it's not an easy feat. You have already given me these talents, wisdom, wealth and patience. And I am still beholden to You. May keep on using me as your worship leader and as your preacher for the purpose of your Kingdom. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Praise God! My wife and I are in the same boat shevwants me to move out to give Her space. I'm praying daily seeking God's word. I'm broken but not scattered. It is heavily in part due to my boyish actions. I love her dearly and we have two beautiful children together. The thought of becoming that divorced dad kills me. I'm begining to take ownership for my actions and I'm praying God reveals himself to my wife nor in the trusted modern preaching way. I pray he reveals himself to her and she will get to a place where she sees him, hears him and truely follows him. Funny we thought we were doing it all right. Going to church, praying with our children etc. Yes those are great things but I was btoken inside as the leader of my home. I allowed that brokenness and my turning to a false idol adult films to create hostility. These are only some of the things that fall on me. Please pray that my wife will begin to see my changes heart, soul, mind body and spirit and that I am trying as hard as I ever have to be the leader my family needs.

I went through a number of break ups in 1 year 6 years ago and when I was at home thinkin bout if God was even listening to me and not caring bout me I was gonna stop goin to church and end it and I played this song and decided to go to Sunday school the next day and I met my now wife of almost 4 years and we have built a strong relationship building it around Christ

That was the hardest part, of the whole movie for me, to hear; yet it was the most profound!! I have thought about those truthful words, ever since!!

I done wrong to my girlfriend. I will start a journey with God to show that I CAN change through HIM. I’ve found professional help and the therapist told me to watch this movie and let me tell you…..I cried. No one deserves to be treated like this but forever loved under His guidance. Father God, you are the ONLY one that can help me change and I will walk with You. ❤

This song came out when I went through a separation and ultimately divorce. It carried me through that time. I prayed and begged God to change and heal my marriage. That did not happen. 12 years later the Lord has done so many amazing things in me and through me. I really don't think these things would have happened otherwise. I fully believe in miracles, I also know it takes two to bend their knees to the Lord to make things work. All glory to Jesus, the Father, and Holy Spirit- the only True God

Our house burned down the winter of 1953 in Lockport NY. We all got out safe. If it wasn't for my brother Tim crying we would have all died because we were sleeping. GOD knows the plans for you to give you a future and a hope.God took care of us. Who would of thought back then that I would became an RN, my sister became a teacher and my twin brothers went into the military.

I’m still waiting for my Ms. Right I lost everybody In my life except my mom and her new husband I’m still talking every step into obedience while I’m waiting I’ll worship while I’m waiting

I listened to this song before I met my husband, we been married for over 4 years now, he’s a gift from God

I discovered John Waller while I was on the way to the hospital. I heard his song "While I'm Waiting," and when I heard the verse "though it is painful, patiently I will wait" I KNEW God was speaking to me. It helped me to be patient and be strong until my health issues could be resolved. I still kept crying all the way to the hospital, but it wasn't just because of the pain by then, it was the knowledge that I wasn't alone. God moves us in mysterious, unexpected ways!

My husband and I have been married 20 years, I met him when I was 15, iv been there for him threw thick and thin. Good and bad. Now im going threw depression, anxiety, ptsd, but I feel like I'm alone. While I'm waiting I will worship. Pray for my family and every other marriage that is in need of prayer. 🙏

13 years later (2022) im here again to get my spirit lifted again🙏🏾

My father’s cancer has gotten really aggressive. My heart hurts so much seeing my best friend go through this. I know the Lord is with me and carrying us through. I’m broken but I’m waiting on the Lord. He sustains me and I love God still through this storm in my life.

@@servantleader07 rushing and hurrying things up my way is what I've done all my life. I have no patience. I desperately want my husband to be home with me. I know he can't be. He's a miserable person who once loved God but hasn't cared for Him in years. I'm a positive joyful upbeat person and he puts me down for it. It's like I have to feel sorry for being happy and that's just not okay. He stomps out my joy and makes me feel like a bad person for being positive and thankful instead of complaining constantly like he does. I can't live with him like this, amoung many other reasons. God is working on me. It took a year but I finally saw the mistakes I was making and apologized for them. Im taking steps to a better me. I pray he would do the same. And more than anything that God would break him and bring him to surrender. As painful as this is I can't rush him home. I have to wait on the lord. Trust that his plans are good no matter where they lead me. There's no greater plan that I need to know, he only asks me to follow. As long as He's the one leading I know there will be good things waiting on the other side of this trial. I don't know where we're going but I know it's gonna be beautiful ❤

this song is a blessing to my husband and I we had a new born baby and both of us loose our job and all we did was wait and pray and God work wonders in our life let's just wait upon him and he will do what we can't do for ourselves.

Oh my gosh. It's been 13 years and this song/meaning still hold true in my heart and mind! While I'm waiting...for more blessings!

Do you still listen to this song? My son left for the Air Force yesterday and listening to this song, reminds me the inspiration it brought me through the years, waiting. I told my son everything up to this point in life, God has prepared you for, and you must wait, remain peaceful, and know he will guide your feet to the path he has chosen.

@@shalom5994 divorce is being finalised on the 19th April . I have accepted it and yes keeping my eyes focused on God and for what He has in store for me after the 19th🙏

My late wife played me this song in 2013 while in courtship, I laid her to rest on 13th Jan, 2020 after five years of marriage. I miss her dearly, think of you almost every day.

I remember watching this movie when it used to feature on TBN years ago. I'm now realizing that it relates exactly to what I'm going through today. I need God and I'll worship while I'lll wait! 💜💙💚

My mother beat me as a child, torcherred me, I was in the foster care system many times not by my own choosing.. my father did the best he could. He was a recovering alcoholic and I don’t blame him he did his best to raise me the best way he knew how.. I’ve been angry and resentful towards my mom for 15 years now. I’m 33 years old and can still remember the pain like it was yesterday.. I’ve converted to Roman Catholic and my life has been so much better now that I’ve been following the call of Jesus Christ and I will continue to serve him until it’s my time to go. No more pain no more tears.. I’ve served in the US ARMY. And I’ve seen a lot of things during my enlistment and Jesus is what I hold on to to help ease the flashbacks

This song reminds you of having to serve God no matter what. Even if my relationship with someone does not get healed but I still need to what's right no matter what!

This has been my theme song for the past few months while unemployed. I listen to this song frequently, because when the enemy tries to put doubt in my mind, I worship him more, I praise him more, I glorify him more, for the enemy is DEFEATED," While I Wait ".

Just watched this again. Reminded me of the book : The Love Dare. My marriage is 27 years strong, but can always use improved, so here I go reading the book again.

Praying and waiting for my kids and grandkids to accept Jesus as Savior. I struggle with trying to help God along in His timing. He knows the perfect time, and I've seen some signs of His work in them.❤ Thank you Jesus!

My mom is having major pains every where in her body, she is numb almost all over. This happened before and she had to have surgery, which almost paralyzed her. I hope she will get better. Also, from all the times she has had to come home because she couldn't make it through work, she might loose her job. I am keeping her in my prayers and ask that you do to. I am waiting on the Lord to do his wondrous things to help me in my Journey with Christ.

It's been YEARS since I've seen this. I forgot how old but I remember this movie, I loved it! And I love this song.

At 51,the fear is there,I may not find my "Soulmate". Too many times mistreated and hurt. And,not in God's will for my life right now. Prayers appreciated. Thank you

I am so sorry @777colur! 😭 I am going through something similar. He hasn’t left but I am considering separating because he is an alcoholic and his actions are so painful to me and our daughter. It’s been 4 years and he just told me that he doesn’t want to stop drinking. I ask God for strength but it is really hard since he already knew the word of God when he started drinking. 😔

My daughter turns 13 on Friday. Everytime I hear this song, I'm in tears before it's over because I relive the nightmare I went through when she was born, but I'm so thankful she's happy, healthy, and has been well taken care of her entire life. This song means more to me than any other song I've heard of.

I have listened to his song for a while and just sang the word but i didn't know what the meaning to them were. Until i stopped singing and just listened... after i listened I realized that you are on Gods schedule not yours. You have to wait patiently and things will happen when God wants them to happen. Thank you for this song, It will forever change my life

God is so real ...I haveca story but can not say it here but I will say God knows when you are hurting the last week someone from church called me and asked how I was doing ...I said did someone put you up to calling me he said no I told him actually i was not alright...I'm amazed how God knows even when we don't deserve him to be there for us ..God thank you so much for your son Jesus..I dont know if my situation will heal but this song gives me hope .and I will try to be obedient and wait patiently

I was in prison waiting to hear if I was granted a date to be paroled. I was in my 14 year and would max out in 3 more. Everybody else who came up for parole the same time as I did already got their dates to go home. This song would come on my radio and it reinforced my complete and utter devotion to the God who saved me. I got my date 2 days before I was to leave, but didn't believe the truth of the fact until I saw my brother waiting for me on the other side of the gate. It's now 4 and a half years later, when I hear this song I can still see myself singing as I did in my cell waiting on the Lord with only confidence in Him, with tears running down my face as they do while writing this. Thank you, Mr. Waller for this incredible song. It connected me and carried me through while I was truly waiting!

I loved the movie FIREPROOF! My wife and I went through a period of adjustment like this, and the Lord had to have time to work. I was the one who wanted to leave...my wife was patient, loving and even forgiving. I'm so thankful for the impact the movie and this music had. God has a way to use it all to HIS glory!

Oh and this is 2023 oh, I've known this man for since 4 years for years now meantime I'm still waiting and trusting Jesus for everything still coming to church but he's still searching for what he wants saadaal😢
