When He ask Caleb why he was so frustrated with Catherine and he answered She is constantly gripping I took She and put the word We (God’s people) in her place cause it’s something that we do everyday of every hour of every minute of the week.

As a kid I was forced Into church/Christianity until I was 17. I hated it, thought It was a waste of time. Also my parents, my mother more so, were complete hypocritical Christians which brought down my belief. Thru high-school I slowly began to have faith in God. And now at 21 yrs old. I'm not a perfect Christian or practitioner of the religion, but I believe in God, I love God with all my heart. I'm blessed for the life I was given becuz many out there have worse. God is Good everyday, Words can't describe. AMEN🙏

None of us are perfect but we serve a God who is perfect who sent Christ to die on the cross for our sins so that we shall be redeemed of our sins. Part of loving the Lord is about choosing to follow him regardless who is and who is not

I grew up kind of forced into Christianity and now that I have a relationship with a girl for almost 3 years I can see how God is trying to work in me and it is difficult but I do believe in him at the end. I thought of this movie today because I want my relationship to be saved. God loves us all and I mean I’m not the best person when it comes to Christianity but I want to be better

It's not the movie. Its the changes we personally make. It's a choice. This is an awesome movie. I saw it before my divorce alone because my ex thought it would be boring. Our church marital counselor recommended it for us at a very difficult time. I still recommend it. I'm very grateful to God for the changes I've made. I'm at peace even though it didn't work out. I get it, understand it and accept it. God gave me closure and led every step. 🙏 😃 ☮

I had seen this movie before my divorce and bought the Love Dare book and did the challenge with my exwife. I did the challenge 2 1/2 times and was not able to convince my exwife to stop her sinful ways (addiction and infidelity). The Love Dare didn't save my marriage but it did teach me a phenomenal amount about the love of God and accepting that love for myself in my own life. It started me on a process of self-examination, repentance and deepening of my faith that prepared me. When I started dating my wife now I wasn't fully where I needed to be with God, that's an ongoing process. The movie and book won't save a marriage by itself. God is a respecter of free will and won't force us to love Him. These are both useful tools for examining His love for us which can do more than save a marriage; it can lead to acceptance of the grace shown us at the cross which is something I always tried to earn and never accepted as a free gift. I never post comments but I wanted to share this for anyone who is struggling.

God was already dealing with my heart even before I watched this clip. I always understood the death of Jesus Christ, but I dont understand the concept of the cross. I know Jesus loves me dearly and I love him too. I know I done many things wrong, but tonight, I know I did something right. He loves me and I love him, and I am forgiven, that is all I need to understand.

I love the subtle ways that this movie shows the changes in Caleb's life. In this scene, his father asks him "Will you trust him with your life?" Later in the movie (during the fire), Caleb cries out to God and says, "God, get us out of here!"

Reality check. It isn't about getting his wife back. It's about his transformation to become like His heavenly Father which IS love. He could've came home, gave his life complete 100% devotion to his wife, apologized, continue to be a Godly self sacrificing husband and still be rejected. The Truth is Caleb is called much like all of is men to be the living sacrifice. Once I realized that, naturally my marriage began to heal. It's as if "an all knowing God" could tell if my heart was sincere or not.

The Concept of the cross is Jesus dealth. He loved us all sp much he chose o follow his father and obey him by giving up his life for us. God, Jesus is love. His father says "you can't give her what you don't have." And he didnt have Gods love in his heart. If you don't have love you don't know how to give love. That's why all marriages should seek God first. All men who are Godly men live Godd word and in there marriage they will treat their wives the way we deserve to be treated. With love and honor.

All fall short to the glory of God. God made Himself flesh so that we may be accepted by our heavenly Father despite our glaring imperfections. Jesus felt all our pain, all our sadness, all our rejection and every bad thing we have to live with, not only does He have empathy but He has mercy and is a lightning rod for our Father’s anger at the innate wickedness that resides in our hearts and in our souls. Through Jesus we are made whole, we are cleansed, we become a new being. He is the perfect sacrifice and upon receiving The Holy Spirit you lose your appetite for sin. Yes if you are truly saved, you lose your desire to sin. Sin is still possible, yet you will be uncomfortable, you will feel conviction and a strong need to tell Jesus that you are sorry, for every sin you commit causes more pain to Jesus. Every time you sin you are biting into the apple Eve bit.

Jesus does not Love on us so that we can feel good and know that we can make it, But, But, But He Loves on us so we can be carriers of that Love to a Loveless, Dying, Sick, and Lost World who is in desperate need of God’s Love!

1 Corinthians Chapter 15 1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Peter 5:12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand. 1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

He is just saying that whether she is good to him or not, hes gonna love her anyway. We all start our marriage as everything is great we're happy, but sometimes we have arguments or heated discussions. There are things that we don't like about our spouses but in spite of that we can choose to Continue to love them anyway. That's all hes saying. Sometimes we forget about our promise When we got married to love them for better or for worse.

From God's perspective, we're all worthy of love. What he's talking about is from a human perspective. For example, the Germans in World War 2 still deserved love, but can you honestly say that you love them? There are people today who traffic children and sell them into slavery. They deserve love too, but can you honestly say that you love them? That's the difference between us and God. He loves *all* of us, even when we don't.

That's the bad news that condemns us all. But the bad news is followed by the unbelievably good news that he talks about in the second half of the video. Trusting in the Lord Jesus for salvation and leaning on his imputed righteousness saves and transforms us. If we put our trust in him we become clothed with his righteousness so that we are clean in God's sight :)

The problem is that when Adam sinned, he was under the death penalty. He was under the death penalty BEFORE he had any children. That means that ALL of humanity that exists has no legal right of existence. You should have died in Adam. And in God's mind, you did die in Adam. Death first entered into humanities' blood after Adam. The Bible says that "the life of the soul is in the blood". When Adam and Eve sinned, death entered into the soul of mankind. Unfortunately, legally dead or dying things cannot go to heaven. Nothing under a death penalty can inherit the kingdom of God, as well. The closer generations to Adam would know this more than in an intuitive way. Now, the just fear of death is in direct opposition to faith. So the justice of God had to be satisfied in order for mankind to legally be moved out of fear's jurisdiction and into a faith that was displayed in love. Thus, the Cross of Jesus is both the love of God towards humanity and the justice of God in full display. Jesus came to give life, but this life being brought to mankind had to first come by way of satisfying the justice of God.

It's meant to be inspirational. I believe in god and in Jesus as well as the holy spirit. I believe in the eternal salvation. I'm not the holiest of holly men. I've made mistakes, I've faltered and failed in many things. Sined only to sin some more and ask for forgiveness only to do it again. We are human and we make mistakes. But the guilt that I feel can only be released once I realize my transgressions and decide to move past them. Only then will I truly be forgiven and move on. You might not believe in his message or in him. And take this as a comedic relief like the video above. But in due time we will all see the truth. There is life after death, it might not be what I believe it is or what you believe it is. But there is something after all this. I have faith that it's God's glory in heaven and all my relatives. Only time will tell, in due time we will all see.

I'm glad I dont subscribe to punitive theology anymore. Imagine thinking that Jesus suffered the wrath of God on our behalf, when Jesus is the exact image of God and wasn't wrathful but forgiving without being asked to forgive. Maybe that's because God is love, and love keeps NO ACCOUNT of the wrong done to it. Ruh ruh rorge! We deviated waaaaay off in our western theology.

“What, am I going to be thrown into hell? For what? Because I got divorced?” “No, because you violated his standards.” Then his “standards” are ridiculously unfair, and he is a megalomaniacal jackass if he will throw every single human on earth into an eternal fire pit to be tortured forever just because we’re all imperfect. Think about how nonsensical and horrifying that is.

I understand your anger. Believe me, I get it. But maybe allow me to clarify? God is a holy God, and while he loves us, he cannot allow sin into heaven, or else it will become corrupt. God understands that his standards are high, and that we can’t live up to it. But that’s the whole point why he sent Jesus. Jesus lived the life we couldn’t and died the death we deserved. Now for anyone who accepts God’s love and believes in his son, Jesus, shall have eternal life in heaven, where we don’t have to worry about high standards any longer. I hope that helped. And a side note: nobody goes to hell because they sinned. They go to hell because they didn’t accept God’s pure and unconditional love.

“How am I supposed to show love to someone over and over and over who constantly rejects me?“ Cue the cheesy “leaning on the cross” moment to say, “Well, that’s just like *Jesus* and *us*!” 🙄 But wait…once God throws a person into a fire pit forever for not accepting Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, is God showing love to that person “over and over and over”? Nope. Eternal torture isn’t love. It’s cruelty beyond imagination.

So, if someone doesn’t want anything to do with God it’s more loving for Him to force them to spend eternity with Him? Or is it loving to give them what they want - separation from Him? That’s what hell is, eternal separation from God He doesn’t throw people into hell. Either you accept Christ or not. The onus of your destination is on you. God did everything for you to have the ability to be with Him forever. Your response to that is your responsibility. Meaning, God doesn’t send anyone to hell. In fact, it wasn’t created for man but for the devil and his angels. God wants everyone to come to repentance, He does not desire for anyone to perish.

God does not throw anyone into hell. He gives us free will, a choice. He's a gentleman he will not force himself on anyone. We can choose him or not, but by not choosing him we're choosing hell. Have you ever wondered why in the garden of Eden that God said you may eat of anything in the garden except for the tree of good and evil. Why would he put one single tree and say that you do not eat from this tree? It's because he was giving them a choice to obey him or to disobey him, free will.

I loved/love my ex girlfriend. We sometimes got into arguments but the arguments was why she wasn’t trying in the relationship. I never wanted her to break my heart. I try to marry her but she has issues of her past that only Christ can heal and she has not surrendered it to him yet. I try to lead with Christ in our relationship but when one out of the three refuses to show works or their faith there is nothing to be done. But pray. I pray for her happiness, her joy and her blessings. Pray she walks in God’s will and not hers or anyone’s but God. I pray that her brings her heart back to me and to the relationship he put together and she pull apart. I pray for her and wish for her.
