If they didn't want to listen to him, they shouldn't have been there--I'd have been SO PISSED if I'd been there and couldn't hear him....though I would possibly be entranced just watching him and Might not have heard a word he said, But that is Only a Possibility lol

Okay, I didn't realize he was at a Mall or something, that explains the talking. Great 52 minutes 23 seconds!!! I am waiting very Impatiently to get his book, I Wish I could have Him read it!!! Great Voice. At the end where he is reading about Coachella I can just envision it so well and I LOVED his "Eyes & Teeth" reference. That Had to be on purpose about Simon's Mom telling Simon to make sure he used his Eyes & Teeth on stage as a Kid. Too Funny!!!

Same here! Was only Black girl there at my turn at the signing but I did not have a copy of his book (was reading a library copy) yet gave him a vintage paperback I'd been wanting to give for ages, he totally nearly leapt out off his seat excited to been given it and asked me did I get to the part where he was on about Roger Moore I said no and he decided to filled me in on it. Then the people in charge got cranky and interrupted telling us we were taking too long gabbing and holding the line up (no we weren't!) so he then asked if I had anything for him to sign and I had my print out ticket done and they shoved me fast along because I had no book. I decided to watch others off to the side get their books and photos taken and there was a lot of stuff being given to him accumulating the table and their attendants were very into moving it all away but John would not let the book I gave him out of his grasp!
