John Salley Almost Walks Out when Vlad Asks Why Kobe's Parents Didn't Speak at Memorial (Part 18)

Ойын-сауық

Part 19: • John Salley Cries Over...
Part 17: • John Salley on Messing...
Part 1: • John Salley on Michael...
------------------
In this clip, John Salley started out by speaking about wanting to make a list of the most underrated hip-hop artists of all time, which DJ Vlad agreed would be a good idea. From there, John shared his ideas on why Kobe Bryant's family didn't speak at his memorial, and he speculated that it could be because they didn't want to have the spotlight on themselves. Salley went on to speak about Kobe's parents being somewhat private, which you can hear more about above.

People who are grieving for Kobe, concerned about Vanessa & her children, should know that there are limits to allowing personal, private moments to be left alone. It's none of our business who spoke at Kobe's memorial & who didn't. Now if the people in question want to engage the media, that's their right & if they don't, that's where it should be left. Kobe & his beloved daughter are DEAD. That's tragic enough & asking John Salley to answer such a question is shameful & despicable. Let the dead rest in peace & what ever goes on in the inner circle of Kobe's relatives & friends moving forward is NONE OF OUR BUSINESS!

"Maybe they didn't want to". I love that answer.. I don't understand why, even during such a sad time as this right after the tragedy of losing both Kobe and his daughter, people are still only worried about digging up drama instead of just supporting the family. It's no one's business why Kobe's parents didn't speak at his memorial and not only is it such a "clickbaity" move but also ignorant to assume right away that it was because of some kind of drama or family problems. Like Salley said, maybe they grieve differently than most others and just didn't want to. Or maybe they were so tore up that they knew they wouldn't be able to hold it together long enough to say something infront of that many people. Doesn't matter either way. These people have to be devastated and it disgusts me that the media wants to take advantage of that and start controversy. What a messed up world we live in..

And his parents took him to all of practices and games. And bought him his uniforms. And that bum Kobe. Fell out with them over some memorabilia. And money for a house. Some black men. Have so little respect and appreciation for their black parents. That it is a disgrace..
