You know someone's really funny when you've heard all the jokes many times and you still laugh and smile. For me , him and Rodney tied for the best. Love them both!!

"I'm starving, Clancy! I'm going to eat a turnip." "Don't do it, Shaemus." Has me LMAO! Just the way he said it with that concerned look on his face. It was told PERFECTLY!

Saw him live in Halifax, NS back in 2007. Only time a comedian made me fall out of my chair form laughing so hard! John was beyond a shadow a doubt one of the funniest comedians in history.

I like how he brings the joke of God burying the turnip back to the present tense with his sister digging up the turnip and bringing it to his house.

Was. He died after losing a large amount of weight. They did not do an autopsy to see what he died from. Just said, oh, it must have been his heart. In my opinion, he died of extreme weight loss dieting. We should all know and remember this! THIN DOES NOT MEAN HEALTHY.

Glad I got to see him once live. So funny and personable. He and I actually had a conversation during his set where he asked me where I was from. When I said buffalo ny his eyes lit up and we talked about chicken wings and beef on weck and sponge candy 😂 Rip!

Watching John Pinette, laughing and remembering the time my little brother and I discovered his Montreal set.

Seen him in Pittsburgh in 2012. He was great! Sure miss him.

Pulmonary embolism, a clot in his lung. He lost a lot of weight and had a few health problem. A few months before he died he said he was spent and didnt give himself enough time to heal and was taking a break. Such a shame.

I cried from laughing and I cried from hearing John left us for Heaven I'm sure. God and our Lord have laughed a lot more ❤. John is so very funny😂 😢
