@@dionreed7325 From the 5.07am 1, Meadows Avenue footage I saw during the trial, there was a missing piece -- and I -thoight- thought there was more red tail-light housing intact to the right of that missing piece then than seen in the crime scene photo that was attached to Trooper Joe Paul's accident reconstruction report. ....I found the ARCCA experts' testimony that the damage to Ms. Read's Lexus did not come from striking Officer O'Keefe & that the injuries he suffered were not consistent with being struck with a vehicle travelling 23-24 mph very compelling. As I did the educated professional opinions of the case ME, the retired forensic pathologist (once also a long time ME) & the retired ER doc (also once an ME) that the appearance & orientation of the lacerations to Officer O'Keefe's right arm were not blunt force trauma injuries. .....As well, didn't the Lexus' black box show no events (impacts/accidents) at that time or am I mistaken about that?

I was thinking "Stockholm Syndrome" as well. The murderers have basically been the support system for the O'Keefes since John's death. It would be tremendously difficult to reconcile psychologically.

Perhaps with his mother questioning whether she had anything to do with his death the next day, could that be the reason Karen said she would never speak to that family again? Maybe she picked up what the mother was thinking and realized that they were not on her side.

It was as simple for Paul that his MOM immediately reacted.. whether Karen has something to do with it. then supposedly attacked karen even over the phone before she came to the house, then blamed Karen when she came to the house to see the kids.. /// is it really a big question as to why Karen would not stick around with them> or say.. i guess we are not going to talk. She’s screaming and crying in the hospital asking if he’s alive and she gets blown kisses…no answers. They blamed her from the beginning and I’m sure more was said to her than we know. Was she wrong to never speak to them again? Maybe but what was said to her for her to react that way? His mom screamed u left him there… I’m sure there’s more we don’t know. I think the family has every right to be upset but the evidence isn’t pointing at Karen.

I’m so sorry that an honest, kind, loving, generous soul was taken from this world way too soon. I wish that Paul could see that we all want Justice for John, we just all have our own definition of what that Justice entails. Sad that he says the public only got one side when the public just watched that entire trial and were presented with both . And that’s exactly why people feel the way they do. Grief and love blind people. Us strangers that are watching the trial are completely unbiased -we’re not locals, we’re not people standing outside with signs… and we’re not interconnected with police officers. we just heard the evidence and we see it for what it is.

Exactly, claiming to actually KNOW what happened is a conflicted statement with no merit as he was not an actual witness to what did.. it’s a very biased and unsubstantiated statement to make.. also saying.. “they had to compromise given the circumstances” with regard to the location Johns body was found. Yes it WAS compromised not only by the weather.

The "Karen Read show"? Sounds an awful lot like Amber Heard when she accused everyone who came to testify (and arguably tell the truth) for Johnny as people who just wanted to be a part of the "Johnny Depp show". I can't imagine the pain this family has been through over the past few years, but sending a person to prison with very poor and/or no evidence to support their guilt is a bad idea for everyone. If you're going to be mad, be mad at the Massachusetts State Police and the Canton Police Department for doing such a terrible job with this investigation and creating reasonable doubt in almost everything they did. They are the ones who let your brother become "forgotten". Point your fingers at them.

Why wasn’t the house searched? Why do the marks look like dog bites? Why was the dog rehomed and the house sold? Why no one hands over their phone to figure out where they were and when? Why did it read on john’s phone that steps/stairs were taken? Why did the video first appear flipped to hide the taillights side? Why did the Brians at the bar look like they were about to fight with John? Why are the injuries consistent with fighting injuries? Why would he stand there and let a car plow into him? I get the family wants closure but locking up the wrong person is not the way to get it. 🙏

Unless you're suggesting he was randomly mauled by another animal shortly before he died then the dog with the bite history in the house is probably a good bet. 3.There's no reason to get the dog. 4. Having all the markings of a fist fight including blood dripping from your face onto your shirt and even your shoes is consistent with a fight fight having occurred.

I certainly pray the truth comes out to the satisfaction of all who loved John O'Keefe.

I can't begin to imagine the pain this family is going through. But Karen Read's guilt was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

I am so heartbroken for him and his family. How much loss is one family supposed to take! It's so unfair. I don't blame him or his family for believing what the investigators and the DA are telling them. Every victim I've ever heard of (with just a handful of exceptions) believes the going narrative of the DA no matter how illogical. Meredith Kurtcher's family believes Amanda Knox killed her! So this isn't surprising. I lean toward Karen being actually innocent in which case I think it's sad that he thinks justice is Karen going to jail. If she is actually guilty, the DA failed the O'Keefes by putting on such a weak case filled with reasonable doubt. Either way, the O'Keefe's aren't getting justice and that's the fault of the commonwealth through and through.

Did he have earplugs in during the entire trial?

David Yanetti said it was an accident because the DA’s office claimed to have video of Karen hitting John. That video has never been seen by the public because it didn’t exist. I can’t imagine that Paul O’Keefe was paying attention enough to know what David Yenetti said, but not enough attention to know why he said it. It’s truly sad to see him blind to the actual evidence. I hope one day he allows himself to reconsider what happened.

Interviewer has waaaay too much “opinion” in an effort to be friendly.

He/they have to blame someone…. Understandable but miss aimed. Did he not listen to the reconstruction experts? This is where is is in denial and needs to place blame….. sad.

John and Karen weren’t fighting that not as shown on the bar videos, they were “lovey dovey” even. She didn’t start start fighting until after John would answer her calls or texts, I can understand how frustrating that would be, not knowing John had been hurt, but just thinking he was blowing her off and he was partying all night. That’s when she left what sounded like arguments, complete frustration because he didn’t answer her.

I am sure it's hard to imagine the cops your brother trusted and would have protected actually killed him. I think you are scared to stand up for your brother and demand real answers. I still pray for justice, but I don't think Karen is the right person. Choose better friends.

At first I think Karen thought she hit John because it seemed the most logical explanation. Until the investigation revealed a completely different story. It’s really tragic that Paul O’Keefe clearly didn’t listen to any of the real experts, and that in the end he couldn’t find it in him to comfort his crying mother when the judge declared a mistrial.

I had never heard of Karen Read until the trial started but facts are facts and the science is clear. Proudly cheering Karen on until this nightmare is over for her and will continue to send money to her defense fund.
