Someone gave me several of JMT's albums when I was a new Christian back in the early 1980's. Shortly after, my mother died, my husband took off with his best friend's wife and on and on...the Peace of JMT's music calmed my spirit and my soul, helped me to see the Lord around me and helped me to go to sleep at night. Now, I'm 30+ years down the road and we don't have albums and even CD's are becoming old, but JMT's music still brings that sweet smile of peace that it brought so many years ago. What a blessing he is and what a gift the Lord has given him.

in the past three month I found myself in similar circumstances on thing after an other.. my wife just left me two days ago.. the pain is overwhelming.. please pray for me..

Similar situation here, my youngest brother died and I discovered the music of JMT and it helped to bring me closer to God. That was back in July 1999. So much has changed since then, a marriage and divorce, death of family and friends, job changes, moves, abandoned by those whom I thought were friends, depression, health issues, loss of money, now caring for an aging and frail parent alone. At this point, death would be more of a long- awaited friend than an enemy. I shall go to God one day, death shall never separate again, no more suffering, sorrow, pain, sin, sickness, disease, abandonment, etc; the former things will all have passed and never to return.

Your music has been with me since 1980 through EVERYTHING I've been through. So many good stories. I've longed to be at your hermitage in Arkansas and was sadden to hear that it had burned. I've retreated to SE Oklahoma hills for 25 yrs off grid and love the time spent in the woods with Christ and your music & so does the birds and animals. Phone you on my phone! This song is especially Holy Spirit inspired. It helped me through taking care of my Dad while he was dying of cancer. It was just he and I and the hospice nurse who came twice a week. No, you do not have to be Catholic to attend mass. All are welcome. :-) And yes, Mass is truly a beautiful act of worship where the Lord's people are gathered together as one. Hi, John! I have written to you before about keeping a monstrance in your cell. I do; now there are four people in this cell, the Mount Sinai Anchorhold. I was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church and Islam. They all want me to have children, even though I am a eunuch. I refused to obey, so I am out. But I will always remain strictly enclosed with my monstrance. I am very happy to have no one close to me but the Holy Trinity. I do most things alone; but since I am paralyzed from the hip down, it is a blessing that my cell is so small. I am not sad about those institutions doing this to me. I feel freer without them. Grand Doctor Rabbi Roshinah Benedetta Allen, Ph.Ds. I kind of find it hard to believe you were excommunicated for not having kids. If you are Catholic, assent to its teachings, know its teachings on contraception and abortion with a sound mind and voluntarily, you excommunicate yourself (formal excommunication involves stuff like being a public Catholic knowingly promoting heresy or trying to kill clergy in malice) and must be reconciled having no desire to do those things again. The Church does expect one to have a child with one's spouse, if physically safe and able. I don't know about the Anglicans or Muslims. The Orthodox Christians are close to our faith. I don't know why one would want to subject themselves to all those Jewish laws of the Torah, when Christ's death took that burden off us. Any case, if you believe in a faith, you stay in it, despite the behavior of wayward lay people or clergy who could falsely penalize you, if you didn't sin. Why? Because Jesus came to bring truth, love and hope. You might not find him yet, but believing in those that's how he finds his lost sheep.

St Thomas Aquinas was called The Angelic Doctor, right? JMT should be called the Angelic Singer.

Stop trusting in what you THINK about Him. And start trusting HIM. Read the Bible to know HIM, not only ABOUT Him. And think deeply on what you read. REST in His work on the cross. @tessab0o I have already prayed for you and will continue to do so. Your own words are also a prayer - a call and cry for healp and healing. Even though I am a very strong Cristian and strong believer filled with faith, I also suffer greatly from manic depression. I had to seek medical (family GP referred me to Psychiatrist and Psychologist) help and councelling. It took a while to find the right combination of medications; but I am very stable and very happy now. Prayer alone cannot cure this.

Do I have to be Catholic to attend mass? I have no church, no community, no fellowship. Mass sounds wonderful to me.
