Correction - "Faun Drive" in the Ampero is where you should look for their version of a Klon - consider stacking this with the TS instead of using the compressor?

I'm a long time Helix Floor user and was looking for something smaller and lighter for smaller gigs so I just picked up the Hotone Ampero2 Stage. I'm loving it so far and I'm surprised at how good the tones are and how easy they are to create. I love your playing and the tones you have been coming up with for the Ampero and your commentary on all the modelers you showcase. I hope you continue to showcase new Ampero tones on your channel and look forward to hearing them.

This makes me want to have a closer look at the Ampero Stomp when I finally have saved up my pennies enough to buy a Modeler. Thanks for going into the detail you did on the editor software, as I definitely would be leaning toward doing my editing on the PC with whatever piece of gear I end up with. Especially since I can back up the unit settings before making any major changes.

More Ampero videos would be great. I bought mine as a backup for my HX Stomp, but lately, I am leaning towards the Ampero. Easier to dial in, and more fx blocks,

Geez that tone! I’m starting to think, NO it’s not the modeller!🖐😅 I’m going to have a shot at this one for sure. I hardly see any KZreadr doing stuff with Ampero 2. Only one guy as far as I can see, who actually puts any sort of content out there consistently every Wednesday. However I must say, I’m making great progress when it comes to just achieving good sound from this channel. I dig & appreciate your explanations & reasoning behind what you do when building a preset live on a post, no matter what modeller! Like what you say (except for some of the functionality & glitches) the tones on Ampero 2 are actually pretty good. Thanks anyway for generously sharing your wide knowledge and ‘experience’ I’m learning quite a bit, particularly on the characteristics of many of these amps & effects. How to choose & handle them for any particular sound. I’m late to the show with a lot of this stuff but I’m having fun with it. Great channel! Peace & Power to ya!

Fair play your are the master at these modeller things. This is a great Strat tone and sounds far more expensive then it is haha. Are you the real digital John from Andertons??

Never seen you play that guitar before, to my ears it’s the stratiest sounding strat you have if you get what I’m saying haha . Your k line sounds warmer and this sounds a little sharper

I have been watching all you Ampero 2 videos in the last few days. The tones are very nice. Do you have any issues with noise? You use a lot of single coil guitars. How do you power the unit. I had a wall wart for a Boss GT1 that made it way to noisy to use.

If it's a higher gain preset (with any modeller) I would add a noise gate at the start. You'll notice in most of my videos I'm sat about ummm...2-3metres from my PC monitor, which probably the thing that makes the most noise in any guitarists rig?

At 6:18 you talk about “this join here”. What does that mean and how do you create it?

This may be a dumb question, but I’m listening to this video through headphones… so, is how I’m hearing it basically the same way the unit sounds if you were to plug headphones directly into it?

Hi! I bought this pack but for some reason I can't import the files. I get a "wrong patch file" error. Have you experienced this before?

Can someone get similar tones on the Ampero MP100?

Fun tip: If you use the software editor, it will actually tell you specifically what each pedal and amp is modeled after, not only that but you get a little graphic of that specific pedal or amp. Loving the Ampero Stomp content, this tone definitely does JM justice!

Why don't you try to make John's tone with the amp he uses, the "Two Rock"? I think there's a simulation of him on Ampero Stomp II.
