Really? In a city, maybe, but in rural America (most of America), people don't even lock their car with their phone in it. Not sure what messed up reality is going on in LA, but that statement is untrue for most of the voting public. Also, making blanket statements like that is what a 2nd grader does. We are fed up, but where was everyone on November 7 th.? I live in a town of 47,000 some odd people and only 3,229 votes in our election on Tuesday. What the hell is wrong with everyone? Is it because the right wing media tells us it’s going to be a red wave and everyone sits home and thinks they’re only one and the others will vote the right way? We’re absolutely privileged in this country to have voting rights and free speech and we throw it away time and time again. We must get out there and vote the ones out destroying our country, our states and our local school districts! Out of the 3,000 some people that voted in my town. Voted for our taxes to go up about $100 per month over full time kindergarten and I’m not okay with that. My taxes are out of control and driving many people from our town as New Yorkers move into my town, vote blue, vote higher taxes all because they want to work from home and have their kids babysat by our school system! No, watch your own kids when not in school and out the $150 bottle of wine down people. We need to get more people out to vote or this country will collapse soon.

I'm sure in LA, the state ranked 44th in education, 20% of the population living below the poverty line, and 83% of people on welfare (see dcfs.louisiana.gov) would lock their doors. They can't even afford food. I'd be scared of breakins there too. People are desperate for help. Maybe this elected individual from that state should focus on supporting programs that actually help his constituents instead of embarrassing himself with blanket statements and a lack of data backing up any of his claims, talking about policies that are a drop in the bucket compared to the other issues he's blatantly ignoring at best, and trying to defund at worst. What a joke.
