A tribute to one of my favorite screen teams of late, John Garfield and Priscilla Lane who appeared together in three films, including Garfield's debut in "Four Daughters" (1938). They were teamed again the same year in "Daughters Courageous" and then in my personal favorite, "Dust Be My Destiny" (1939). His rough edges always seemed to be softened by her warmth and compassion and in their last film together their characters get a happy ending. The contrast in their coloring just added to their appeal as well as their effortless chemistry. Sarah Vaughan provides the background music.

Priscilla and Garfield with Sarah Vaughan singing wow just heavenly pure perfection. Couldn't get any better than this. I Always loved to watch these two together. You can tell they enjoyed working together. They had that charisma that spark that connection. I love everything about it. You did an amazing job. Thumbs up. God bless u.👍👍👍

My favourite screen couple! They were magic together and I loved the chemistry. How they light up one another! Wish they had done more films. But I am so grateful to your collection of clips here. Brings out the best in them and I have fallen in love with this sweet team all over again. Priscilla Lane brought out the soft side of John Garfield. Absolutely agree. JG and Priscilla Lane were one of the most charismatic screen couples of all time. They should have appeared in more movies together. My favourite is Daughters Courageous", a most charming film and underrated. Thank you for this gorgeous video.
What a delightful pair. They oozed sweetness and sex. They looked alike, same structured face - she the feminine version of him, he the masculine version of her. She should have been a much bigger star - right up there with the honey delights of June Allyson and Doris Day. She was a doll and worthy of the great actor that Garfield was. And Sassy Sarah sums it all up! Thank you!!
Yes, this was very nice. John and Priscilla had great screen chemistry between them. Just a natural complement for each other. Missed on film.
