Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Working on 1992 John Deere F932. Fixing a ruptured hydraulic steering line. Failure resulted in a tremendous loss of transmission / hydraulic fluid!
Oil level sight glass on machine was damaged prior to my ownership. Finally getting this corrected!

Same happened to mine, both sides, one month a part from each other...had hydraulic hoses made up and been working perfect ever since.

Haha I bet the folks at John Deere were excited when that brake line they've had for 20 years sold 😅

I'm sure they were stoked, finally someone bought that line

I just had the same problem. I had a spare that sadly looked worse than the original. I got a custom hose from deere for $87 😡. I just assumed they didnt have it or would be $$$.

I mean this with the most respect.... You remind me of the old days I used to work in the shop with my grandpa! I love it. He has since passed and I am working on his old f935 and noticed he replaced the sight tube with a copper fitting (it looks like). It's pretty grimy under there but figure I will need a sight tube. Any idea the actual dimensions of that thing, so I can purchase outside of the dealership? Lastly, I would think the whining would be indicative of low fluid. May have to top her off.

Thanks, much appreciated. The tube itself was clear plastic, about 2.5" long. I had to let degreaser soak underneath for a couple of hours, then pressure wash to get clean.

@@marktolman6037 yes! I will be doing the same thing. I have it running great. Hydraulics seem to be working great but figure it’s best to drain and refill with new oil… going to use kubota hydro fluid, as that is what I have laying around. Any idea of the O.D and I.D? I assuming the outer dimension would be the same as the hydraulic lines inner dimension?

@@JakeHolder Correct. Same size as the lines. If memory serves correct, I believe the inside was 1/8" or 3/16". Whatever size the male nipple is in the differential housing.
