Tell them thanks for letting you video that. Pretty cool!! I've always been fascinated by the machine work process. There is a lot too it. A lot of setup ,patience, perfection takes place. No wonder it cost so much.

I may end up seeing about doing a short series with crank grinding, deck leveling etc. They are an amazing shop and love to explain processes.

Plan to get the steering clutches and final drives assembled this weekend... hoping to put the engine together the following weekend. I'm just waiting on parts! Thank you for the channel support. Any recommendations?

@@RustyWrenchRestorations Recommendations?!? :) You do a great job! That said, I have some ideas: there is a lot of stuff (with respect to rebuilding) you could go into more detail on. I suspect it is a balance between providing detail, keeping videos somewhat short, and how long it takes to film, produce, and get anything done. Otherwise - you still have the electrical system to cover (you'd mentioned replacing all the wiring in a previous video), maybe a video detailing how the hydraulic system works, how a 3 point hitch works, overview of ignition system (including details of adjusting points), how to tell if tractor has been converted to 12v or left as 6v. I personally would appreciate any details regarding the painting process. Might be worth doing a video on sourcing parts too, if it can be done without divulging any secret fishing holes. Could also cover what sort of implements a person might connect to a given tractor/crawler. Details about how the winch works, carburetor details, etc. I'm basically turning into a bit of a tractor nerd and anything you can do to feed that monster sounds great to me! 😆

Looks like you should have had the deck surfaced

Deck is good. No need to start messing with that if it's not needed. This engine was rebuilt 10 or so years ago and sat with very little time on it. That was the only reason it was stuck and the cylinder walls had some pitting. Had it not been for that I wouldn't have even bored it.
