Comedy legend John Cleese has spoken to Nick Ferrari ahead of Fawlty Towers' theatrical debut. The British icon is known for his hit 12-episode sitcom, popular comedy films, and of course being one sixth of the pioneering group Monty Python.

Trigger warnings are designed to warn people with trauma, or mental health issues surrounding the triggering subject. It's not there to "warn the easily offended". Sangita would have known that, bring her back to redo this interview.

it's just great to see an interview with a genuine comic legend who - and obviously LBC should retract it's cancel culture nonsense and reinstate Sangita - who still has interesting things to say at that age. interviews with people like John are why conversations are still useful and meaningful

When I was a kid my dad came back from his travels and said he had met the man from Fawlty Towers and had got me a signed photo. I assumed it was John Cleese but it turned out to be Bruce Boa! I was a bit disappointed 😅 I met cleese about 3 years ago anyway in a hotel of all places. Nice man.

Quite surprised to hear John's opinions about trigger warnings, censorship and cursing. He seems to have changed his position slightly from when he was decrying Fawlty Towers repeats being censored or warnings issued on GB News a few years ago. Nice interview.
