The fact this was 5 years ago is insane. This is so relevant.

@@TheOne-bh5kyBecause nothing has changed. Just like history seems to go in circles, it repeats itself over and over again because people don't learn too much from each other and repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Sad but true.

Santo Domingo!john cleese has been around for so long!can you believe?the world and country that he lived in,way back with Monty python back in around 1969!
I finally boycotted Britain earlier this year too... I'd be tempted back for the same reasons he said.

He’s got out at the right time, look at the state of the uk now.
Please don't leave us John.
I bet nobody's laughing about Trump now that they've seen the alternative.

Good man John.
I would boycott the establishment. Period. They don't believe in human rights!
the comment about manuel was actually very sweet.
Where did he say he's going? Nevis? Like Saint Kitts and Nevis?
Nevis is great. Did he go there?
Just love him
Journalists educations are a cruel joke
I admire you John for speaking out the truth
That's the way to do it!
Least he did not say 'Great' Britain! See how clever he is ...
Leaving the eu gave the uk government licence to do what they want. Not going well so far

That's what we pay them to do, that's what we voted them to do. So you'd rather have an undemocratic EU run Britain?
regarding Cleese's comments on Trump - I seem to recall Trump was trying to warn the UN about Germany's reliance on Russian gas & those corrupt ignorant idiots laughed at him about it - then Russia invaded Ukraine of course - so Trump had the last laugh - very similiar to when Anne Coulter said Trump would be president on Bill Mahers show - Cleese is dead right about proportional representation though - without it nothing will ever change
Didn't think anyone watched the biased BBC anymore!!! There programmers have no idea about quality programming!!!!!
Question? Is Britain a democracy? I know it's not a Republic? WHAT IT IS AFTER BORIS?
Disgusting she tried to dismiss John Cleese
even worse now!!!
I Blame my Nation the United States of America, for pumping Multicultural Propaganda to the British for 70 Years. I am sorry my English, Scottish and Irish Brothers.

Spot on bro ❤
She was a bit urgent ...
Not an expert in British law, but I’m pretty sure you could always be jailed for certain kinds of speech there. From a quick Google search: A number of different UK laws outlaw hate speech. For example, section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986 makes it an offence for a person to use “threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviours that causes, or is likely to cause, another person harassment, alarm or distress”.

UK is now the British version of the Chinese cultural revolution. Meaning you can't say a thing or do an act without having to check ur back all the times.
Overrated Cleese made his fortune saying one word RIGHT! He just happened to be pals with the superb Python team , taking undeserved credit for their work , was second best to Andrew Sachs and as for Clockwise..RIGHT!
Not very knowledgeable about the EU and its functions ..
