The most interesting part about Brzenk's toproll, is that he mainly relies on cobra style, first containing the opponent's hit, then counter attack by rolling his big ass thumb and hand into his opponents hand. A rare sight in newer pullers🤔

@@georgidelev8735 i assume in my mind it's due to Bzenk physical advantages. He grew up mastering hand control as teen till adulthood, his hand has been uniquely conditioned that not even pumping iron could match. Unless a future puller, grew up with tons of table time like John did as a teen, like u mentioned, it will be a rare sight to see a hand control god both in and out of the strap today

@@xe5375 Exactly. The time he grew up training with people other than machines has helped him develop both physically and tactically. There is no way to compare the workout at the table with the one in the gym. And until pumping, John always has a double arm when he trains (of course from a table workout)

Whats better than all this is his ability to transition so fast into a sholder press which many even top armwrestlers fail to do and end up tired and loose the game. He does it so fast as if he is teleporting.

John has said his shoulder injury has forced him to 'contain' the other guy's hit first; he doesn't want to always do that; he wished it was 1986 again when he could hit hard with body motion off the go. He got a lot of flash-pin wins like Travis that way, but his shoulder isn't strong enough now. He's hoping his stem cell treatment will strengthen his shoulder so he can go hard form the go again.
