I often said when I grow up I want to be like John Andretti, to be able to drive as hard and to be a good as person as he always was. He set the bar high, doubt I make it, but I'll keep trying. God speed John, my hero.
God Bless you John!!! I cannot think of a better way to honor you. Now it’s time to race on the track made of gold in Heaven!!! Please tell all the racing folks that they may be gone, but not forgotten and we will remember each and every one of them forever.

I met John years ago, so personable in the Andretti mold, he is missed already...a true master and talent.

This was a very appropriate/fitting gesture to a very good race car driver and person. John drove everything and anything and while he might not have been in the elite club 'NO ONE' can say "he didn't show up."

That is so cool they did that for him. We lost other good guy and I miss him and miss Dale Earnhardt Sr too.
I have run over 200 laps at Talladega over years and would love my funeral procession to take a lap there.
