    I believe it's important to recognize and appreciate the diverse contributions to music from people of all backgrounds without making assumptions based on ethnicity. Music is a universal language that transcends borders, and everyone has the right to explore and perform any genre without their race being highlighted as a factor.

    @@mncjeff Then you are ignoring the fact that early music is an entirely European tradition and many or even most Western music students do not even care about early music nor early music performance practices. That East Asians are now exploring this area is both surprising and admirable and therefore deserves mention.
