This footage from a VHS Capture was originally broadcast on UTV during the 1993 NW 200 coverage. Some of the race coverage was delayed in the initial program so they broadcast this piece to fill the gap. I haven't seen much of this before but some real nice clips despite the noisy quality. Joey and Robert (and William) very much missed by biking fans everywhere.

Within the realms of motorcycle road racing there was only one person that didn't realise that Joey Dunlop was a Superstar and that was Joey Dunlop.. RIP King of the Roads🏁🏁🏁🏁

Just watched, nice to see old school television.
He was not just a racer he was a gentleman an honest individual and had a heart of gold hence everyone loved him there are many many heros of sport but not one like this man what a loss I was hoping he would retire and just have the life he should have had teaching others how to be a good person not a racer

I Have Been one of the lucky ones who got to meet Joey Dunlop 1983 Isle Of man TT At the Villa Marina Trophy ceremony Douglas Certain Riders had a Lady on each arm Drinking Champagne and thinking they were all that. When it Came to the Formula One Trophy Which Joey Won he came in at the Last Moment on his own With his Rothmans Honda Jacket on The Place was on its feet. Joey Dunlop Was Just One of Us Normal a top bloke Who Liked a drink Working on his bikes and Being with his Family......Joey We all Miss You so Much Buddy Yer Maun
i watched ROAD other night for 4th time . no one seen it they need to do . R.I.P Joey ,Robert and William .
To be that good and remain so modest... superhuman just on that count alone.
