In another month, August, 1969, "The Merv Griffin Show" would premiere on CBS. In December of that year, Mr. Bishop departed his show later to be replaced by "Dick Cavett." Thank-You for sharing this treasure. LOL.

I met Joey in 1969 and became good friends with him until his death in 2007. RIP Joey

I used to love this show, loved Joey, I was upset when it was canceled. And I was just a kid.

I wish I could see that episode of the Carol Burnett Show. I can't remember those early ones clearly.

What a horrible MC, he didn’t smile or laugh once! Was he being hunted by the Manson family? Who could watch this? No wonder he got canceled!
