Is Embiid 100% healthy? Probably not however I think this is more so a conditioning issue. He looks to be at 65-70% there conditioning wise. With 100% conditioning I believe The 76ers will be in better shape. Hopefully by Game 3 of round 1 Embiid can be back at tip top shape. Probably asking for a lot though... With this all being said Embiid & Maxey were not great last night. Batum won't be there to bail you out like that again. Would be nice to see Buddy Hield do a little more though offensively. Game 1 is a must if the 76ers want to make this a series against the Knicks. Set the tone for the series.

Embiid is allergic to playoff defense. From what I can tell, his physical health is fine he just needs develop his clutch gene and stop being terrified of playoff basketballs. Replace Embiid's brain with a Butler, Murray, or Jokic who elevate their games in the playoffs and Philly has a shot at the title this year.

Even without the injury he hasn't played enough minutes to have the wind for 48 mins of zone defense. Most teams can't sustain that much zone so I imagine you'll be a lot better because the Knicks. When that happens you will all disappear or find another reason to crap on him Just like y'all did when he averaged 35 against the Hawks or 30 without Ben Simmons versus Boston.

Knicks are 3-1 vs the 76ers. The 76ers averaged a measly 86 points per game vs the knicks tough defense. In the game that Embiid played in, the knicks won by 36 point margin. Total domination. Now Embiid looks hobbled with his latest reinjured knee. He played like garbage vs the Heat. Bench player Batum was the best playing 76er player. Tyler Zerro (9-27) and a Butler sprained MCL gave the 76ers a lucky 1 point win. We all know what would have happen if Terry Rozier and Duncan Robinson played. +20 point Heat win.

Here's my question. Do the Knicks run zone? Or just hard doubles? Pretty sure Tibs has too much defensive pride to go zone for 48 mins like the heat (although he has the horses to do it, they are gritty). Cuz what you saw last night is not a regular game. That's how Miami has to play because they can't generate any offense. Embiid and Maxi will have way better offensive numbers unless the nicks are down to get as ugly as Miami did.
