'The 76ers were BAILED out by Nic Batum!' Tim Legler on 76ers-Heat 😤 Can Bulls upset Heat? | Get Up

Спорт

Mike Greenberg is joined by Tim Legler, Alan Hahn and Monica McNutt to react to the Philadelphia 76ers squeaking past the Miami Heat, 105-104, to advance as the No. 7 seed for a first round matchup against the New York Knicks. Then, the crew touch on the Chicago Bulls' ability to pull of the upset over the sliding Heat.

He wasn't sensational overall, but he stepped up big in the 4th. The block by Batum and the backcourt violation were costly, though.

Batum is a star in France. He had plenty of games like that playing for French national team over the past decade. He was pretty great for Blazers as well playing alongside Aldridge and young Dame.

Batum was the MVP for Philly tonight. I see Embiid getting a lot of hate for his bad shooting, but both teams shot very poorly for most of the game. Not to mention that Embiid made some crucial plays down the stretch while grabbing 15 boards and taking care of the ball against Miami's pressure. Herro was huge in the 4th, but that block by Batum and the backcourt violation were costly.

Its wild that for years, the Sixers have played 4 on 5 with Simmons and bad coaching, media screaming Sixers need good role players and a bench to take the high work load off of Embiid’s triple and quadruple teams, now the roster is in tact, and thats a problem. Anything to create a bogus narrative.

You can't make this up... Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat lost to a breakout Nicolas Batum performance. Without him, the Philadelphia 76ers may have never made their 14-point comeback.
