Absolutely. It is one of the prettiest cars I think I’ve ever seen. The whole car is just right. I don’t know if I would have had the vision to pick those wheels, but Joe hit it out of the park. To my eye, those are the perfect wheels for that car. I’ve also been a big fan of silver ever since my buddy bought a brand new Datsun 240Z in silver with a black interior. It was the first version that had the small chrome bumpers and that very cool dash with the 3 inset instrument pods. In 1973 that car was very special in every way. The silver on Joe’s car is a brighter colour than I remember the 240 was, but I think it is a perfect choice to show the gorgeous sculpture of the Gen 3 Corvette. If it was mine, I never sell it. You could daily it if you wanted. It would be amazing to take on a trip through the Rockies with the top down. You could probably fit a couple of bags in the trunk.

@Devin Garcia I dont think that you need to be a millionaire to enjoy life, I think its more of a mindset/philosophy/perspective of life. Some people have figured it out and others not. I mean look at all the celebrity type people I mean they are all rich but they couldnt be farther away from enjoying life and being satisfied. But Joe is humble, modest he has a high emotional intelligence therefore high empathy which makes him a really social person coupled with a good mindset makes him the person he is, honest humane and humble very friendly and respectful you know thats Joe and thats what enables him to understand what life is about, you know whats truly important and he has the right focus which makes him appreciate life, enjoy life and be satisfied with himself and his life. Thats so important but many focus on wrong things like money, you know to impress other people and generally focus on what other poeple think about them and adjust to that and insecure about themselfs like constant comparison with other people and how "successful" they are and that makes those people more insecure and they feel like failures and not as good. Even though it doesnt have any value whatsoever only if you give it one. Your person you know what makes you You, that doesnt depend on anything monetary or material. Your value is not in there. Your sense of life and of yourself is not there you wont find it that way. Joe is so content and satisfied and cool and conscious about himself he wouldnt change one bit with or without money. His appreciation and happiness is not bound to his riches. He knows its just another tool to make life a lil easier and comfortable but has not any value in itself. Doesnt define him and most certainly doesnt make him happy.

An old BF had an all original cherry ‘65 hard top convertible. His brother had a ‘62 hard top convertible that took years and lots of $$ to bring to perfection. He had it for 2 years…it was pristine…he sold it to his brother-in-law who 2 days later totaled it. I had another BF that had a ‘67 Stingray…I seemed to have had a thing for classic cars. My first car was a 1967 Mustang GTA, I was 19 years old. It was my daily driver for many years. It now belongs to my 26 YO son and after he and his dad did a full resto, it’s ready for paint. I’m with Joe on the ‘65 GTO…screamer. I finally bought my first brand new car at 64 YO…a Subuaru OB 3.6. My ex and I took his friends ‘67 Corvette for a couple days down to L.A. I remember taking off from a stop sign and that thing lifted off the ground…love the power of the old muscle cars! I’m not ripping around anymore…off-roading and MTB is what I’m doing in the last 1/3 of life.❤️🚴‍♀️ Very fun seeing Joe’s beautiful vette…it sounds amazing!

This episode just popped on my feed and brought back so many memories. When I was 16, my dad heard about a 1963 Corvette convertible that was in poor shape in OK. We traveled there and bought it for $6000, then proceeded to get the worst sunburns on the way back to MO. We completely restored the car and I learned to drive a manual transmission, then drove it off and on for several years. We sadly sold it years later, but the car was just amazing.

There may be legal restrictions or confidentiality preventing Jay from commenting about certain things (wild guess)? At any rate, they could easily fill up 3+ JRE episodes just talking about cars.

Centerline wheels are my favorite wheel choice for a muscle car. With that year Vette, the center line of the car is where everything originates - all of the angles and curves start from there. As Joe said, its my favorite body style of the Muscle Car era. I grew up seeing this and other Detroit Steel. Growing up in Ann Arbor, MI, we were just outside the city (this was a while ago and have things changed) and these types of cars were everywhere on the roads of my youth. My father owned a few of them: '68 Olds Cutlass W-31 that never saw a strip compliments of a drunk, '67 Chevelle w/ a 327 Fuelie (he said folk just didn't understand how the system worked) he drag raced a couple years w/ great success and my favorite, a '56 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing that he took up to over 130 going over the Mackinac Bridge in '65/'66. Mother wasn't pleased w/ him wanting to go cruising in that "chick magnet," so it was sold after a couple months. lol
