Anytime you have a fighter who KOs others left and right in minutes or seconds you could assume that either everyone else is bad or the fighter is just exceptional. In the case of Iron Mike, it's not that hard to see just how special he was. Regardless of that, we haven't had too many boxers being so smart or many humans being that honest. Many of this generation was not old enough to remember the fear and intimidation Mike had on the fighting world in the 80’s. Mike’s focus, ferocity, and skill was unmatched.

Many of us lurking the internet weren't born yet. It's mostly millennials, gen X and zoomers on the internet. Boomers and older gen X don't mess with KZread. I wasn't even born when Tyson was boxing in the 80s but some of the fights on KZread from back then are just insane. I know Tyson credits Ali as the GOAT but honestly, I think Tyson was the GOAT. There has never and may never be another like him.

I remember the 80's perfectly, but this was the 90's, and a whole different Tyson by that point. This was after he lost to Douglas, and his life went to shambles outside the ring.

Actually he lost alot of his speed during his time in prison. The Tyson after prison was not as good as they Tyson before prison. Same thing happened to Ali. Prime years spent in prison.
