In fairness Ronda Rousey seemed incredible when female MMA was relatively new to the UFC audience. And we can say that about a lot of legends. MMA fighters are constantly evolving in general along with athletic science and training regimes. The UFC fighters today train very differently than UFC fighters 20 years ago. Ronda Rousey came in as an amazing female fighter who was eventually surpassed by the evolution of female MMA.

She wasn’t all that great. Super one dimensional. Some of the worse striking ever seen in MMA. Like with Conor the UFC saw the money potential and pushed them as much as they could. Conor fought a old un ranked Denis Siver to become the number 1 contender. It’s easy to look good when your boss gives you the path of least resistance.

A lot of those tough guys are sensitive af! Some of the most emotional people I’ve met are big black guys, they take any little remark as disrespect and their insecurities will make them do stupid shit. I’ve seen people get knocked out just because they have a pretty girl with them. The haters couldn’t stand seeing that and want the girl for themselves. It’s crazy the way some people think like “ yea let me fight this dude because he gets girls I can only dream of, this will make me feel better”.

I wish Dana would create a couple events specifically for "after prime" fighters. Like a 41yr-45yr and a 46yr-50yr old bracket. The different weight divisions would still be the same. BUT, regardless of the outcome (who wins or who loses) the current divisions and ranks would not be a part of these "after prime" fights. Sort of how he did the "super fights" back in the 90s. Example like we saw in Bellator 1-2 yrs ago with Tito and Chuck. They would have to fight someone in their own weight bracket. You don't want a fight like BJ Penn vs Yair Rodriguez was. Yair almost killed BJ. He is like q5 yrs younger. So like BJ Penn vs Matt Hughes as an example. The entire event would be specifically for the older fighters, none of the current fighters. I mean Dana has always made fun of other promotions who run "gimmicky" fights, then he created the stupid "bmf" belt. Dana is a walking hypocrite. Like clock work he always does what he used to claim he wouldn't do. So maybe?
