Tip for longer healthier life: Soak your elk meat in red wine before cooking for 30 seconds. After cooking, season with DMT and acid tabs for a little kick. For dessert, sniff CBD while hitting a bong of weed for a relaxing chilled evening. Peace from Ireland.

I asked a cardiologist about the red wine benefits theory. He told me that the people studied who drank red wine with dinner were mostly people who ate Mediterranean diets, lived more active lifestyles, and didn’t drink the red wine in excess. These studies are not generalizable and unable to single out red wine as the cause of better heart health.

It’s because of everything else they do; eat a Mediterranean diet, exercise, meat, etc and nothing to do with the wine. You get far more antioxidants from eating a handful of grapes. Oh, and alcohol- including from red wine- is the third leading cause of preventable cancer in the world. If you wanna keep drinking wine because you like it or you wanna get buzzed, just say so. If you pretend to drink it for the “health benefits” you’re literally 20 years behind on the research.

I belive most ripe fruit is better than any hyper- "fresh" fruit vegetable, so when we eat things that are on the verge of tipping over its concentrated with good nutrients, but in modern society we are very afraid to use our senses, smell taste and so on, so we throw it away. Old people from food-centered cultures know this and treat food with more respect in the long run.

I like red wine, beer or rum because of taste but I don't like to be drunk I just love them as products to drink sometimes. Btw I can guaranteed you if you eat 3 tablespoons of lard, or greasy fries, red wine can help your cardiouvascular system but same benefits you can get from running, drinking 100% natural juice, fruits and avoiding that much fat, but when you eat lot of greasy stuffs, red wine can really help your cardiovascular system. Red wine is so rich in antioxidants and it's so good at lowering cholesterol, only things is not drink it to much because or alcohol or if you can't tolarate histamine then go with bit less benefitial white wine. I don't have headaches from anything but if you have, avoid red wine, might be histamine intolarance.

Definately shouldnt drink more than 4 units a day and more than a few times a week(at least 3 days should be alcohol free) with a maximum of 14 units a week. although even at this level there is net harm.

Funnily enough people don't know where the surname came from possible origins: 1) Muscat, Oman 2)Muscat wine 3) Mosca (fly in italian) 4) Moscavi (or people from Moscow, specifically Jews from moscow who emigrated to italy) Etc etc. Of note my particular surname is probably a descendant of a more early italian surname (Moscati) Also what I said was the medical knowledge at the time not conservative views per se. A more recent study shows (as I have alsways said) that any amount of alcohol has net harm (medically speaking). I am not saying that restrictions should be legally enforced, but people should be educated so that at least if they choose to harm themselves it is an informed decision.

This gentleman clearly has some tunnelvision going on. Red wine has beneficial ingredients, true. However, it does have harmful ingredients too. And their effects generally outweigh the beneficial ones. Acutally studies on the wine, not just some of its ingredients suggest, that in small doses (shotglas more or less), it can be overall beneficial, because our body can take care of the negative ingredients and benefit from the positive ones. The vast majority of people drinks way too much though, to call it beneficial.

Harpreet06 your body digests sugar in generally all the same way. It’s just fruit has other stuff in them, like fiber, that makes them a little healthier. One of the effects of fiber is it slows the absorption of sugar. If you just drink the fruit juice, your body is not going to process it any different than a soda. Sooo, just don’t eat/drink too much fruit/fruit juice.
