Aron Travis he literally said in the Barboza fight that he could’ve too but he wanted to show everyone he could go 3 rounds without getting tired. That’s when I was officially terrified of him. Doing that to Barboza then saying you could’ve ended it literally whenever you wanted is scary

Thing with Iaquinta is he's the perfect mix to take out Khabib. His background is wrestling, same as Khabib, meaning he has learned how to defend against someone like Khabib as long as he's been fighting, but then he's a far better striker than Khabib. So he's able to defend against and attack Khabib. The only reason why he lost to Khabib is that he didn't work enough becoz he was scared. He didn't realise that he had the perfect skillset for Khabib and overestimated him. Put them back in the ring together again and I think Al wins with ease, knockout

The Irishman and his crew started a ruckus, threw a dolly almost endagering lives, insulted his father, his religion amongst many other personal attacks to none of which is good for the sport. Dana also allowing for Connor to carry his two past belts, none of this kind of shit is acceptable for the sport and Dana's responsible for it all at the end of the day for allowing this shit to not only go on but contribute by allowing Connor to carry his two belts in the press and also promote his whiskey... what a fucking joke.

I would imagine away from the cameras Conor is a lot like that.. he came from nothing. But when cameras are on, he’s there to market himself which he does very well, he’s an entertainer and it sells tickets and PPV buys. He sometimes goes too far but I think he learned that with the bus ordeal. It costed him millions from being sued and medical bills and got a felony dropped to a misdemeanor, he’s lucky he’s still got a visa. The government doesn’t care what he does or who he is when it comes to border visa issues so the UFC can’t help him out of an issue like that. He’s still a hell of a fighter regardless of what happens this past fight... I don’t think he would of won at his best unless they stood more but he didn’t look like the regular Conor, his stand up was sub par for McGregor, it wasn’t the same guy that fought Alvarez or Aldo. Just my opinion. I give it up to khabib thoigh, I wish it would of had more standing since I enjoy that but he’s an animal on the ground. Love ground and pound but I hate how he wraps your legs up and uses his weight against you to tire you, it’s just boring to watch and after the opponent is tired he can’t perform at his best which takes away from the fight.

Woke Up Dead I respectfully disagree, just because you don’t actively see him disagree with Conor doesn't mean he is a “yes man.” In addition, keep in mind, these two guys have completely different personalities. It’s also Kavanaugh’s first big champion. A learning process for both of them. He’s stuck by Conor’s side since cage warriors. He also sticks by his other fighters sides.

  • 5 жыл бұрын

@rakesh rakz yes, i know. He told conor to counter-strike Khabib as he has a tendency to walk straight forward. They were expecting an aldo like type of reaction from Khabib. However, the gameplan as a whole was banking on Khabib to be tired enough for the KO shot. They should've known conor's endurance would give out before khabib's. Conor's best KO power is in rd 1-2. They should've focused on this. Now obviously they were expecting a long battle, but to really believe Conor's KO power would carry onto the later rounds is a very risky expectation. I'm not an mma coach, but even I can see the huge flaw in their gameplan. They didnt really have an answer to beat khabib other than a counter KO punch.

I hate bullshit trash talking and love fighters like Khabib and Fedor, who don't speak but just show you how great they are. He is right though that at the end of the day they are risking their health and lives when they get in the ring/cage and it's on them to maximize how much they make because that is how they put food on their table and a roof over their heads. Honor and humility are amazing but they don't pay the grocery bill. I could never get behind the way Conor disrespected his opponents (maybe a new, richer Conor is different now) but you have to admire the fact that he figured out a way to make serious money in the MMA game.

Man I’ve never seen Conor look so bad in a fight.. no speed, no precision, no power. Instead of waiting for khabib to pressure him and walk into that left hand, he chased khabib and walked right into those takedowns.. I don’t know if it was emotion finally getting to Conor or the money that’s made him soft, but I think we’ve seen the best of Conor and the decline is already happening..

Connor shouldn't get an immediate rematch. He decisively lost and was finished. He should have to fight Ferguson first. Why didn't he give Mendez a rematch. Look what he did worth a week to train. Imagine what it would've been like with a whole camp. But it's Danas poster boy and he'll accommodate him. What happened with the bus incident. The only reason why I could see a rematch is if the UFC offers it to Khabib and he accepts the rematch. He was CLEARLY still angry even after the fight. I think he would take that rematch. I don't think he got the best McGregor and I think if he's offered a rematch, he would be ignorant not to take it. That being said, if Conor gets a rematch, if he loses again to Khabib, he's probably done. Because who does he fight in the division that does any good for him? Tony? I think that's really the only "good" fight for him at this point. Nate doesn't interest me. I've seen it twice, don't particularly wanna see it again. He'll never go down to 145 again because I don't feel he can personally make that weight again. He looked drained from making 155, he looked skinny as hell. He's in a weird, weird place. Guy needs to figure his shit out but I would love to see that fight again. I think Conor would come in more dangerous a second time around and that's better for everyone involved including Khabib. If he truly believes what he said, he wants to smash the guy, he would want to do it again. If Conor somehow won the second fight, 100% do a 3rd. He wouldn't be allowed to weasel his way out of another fight with Khabib.

Not sure if that's true, I think that he wants to please Dana on a subscale with the things he says on this podcast, because his job as the UFC announcer depends on it. Conor makes Dana tons of money, Dana loves Conor and doesn't want it to stop (it's his #1 show), Joe wants to keep his job working for Dana, so it comes full circle. I don't think it's the muslim thing specifically.

He had Cenk from Young Turks on I think? They are definitely few and far between. hat being said he is more of a "challenge the status quo" and "open your mind to a new perspective" podcast, and most media is left leaning so he's likely just into trying to counterbalance that. Though it would be interesting to get some more liberals in the show and have them explain their point of view. If I were Joe, trying to make podcasts that people would watch (and remain one of the biggest to ever happen), I would probably do the same as he is. Those Peterson ones get crazy amounts of views.

Second of all this is not the first time UFC disrespects an religion Yoel Romero got ton of shit on his name from Dana White about talking about Jesus after the fight and than Dana White banned to talk about Jesus in UFC and by the way this happend 3 years ago. Josh From Ohio I am not against any religion, I am only against insulting religious and national feelings. Muslims believe that we are all made up of the same father (Adam) and mother (Eva-Hawa) and that One God created us all(in Arabic Allah means God) All Muslims love God's messengers Adam, Noah, Dawid, Abraham, Moses, Jesus as well as Muhammad (peace is on all of them) but McGregor is lost because of alcohol and fame and he had no measure of insulting. This had to be sanctioned. Today's time is the time of lies, propaganda and hatred. In every way, moral and charity values are attacked and anti-Islamic hate policy is broad widespread. That's why the Muslims are frustrated. Muslims are not just Arabs. I am a pure European and a Muslim to and Islam and Muslims, Christians and Jews have been living in my European country for 1000 years. And this is proof that Islam is universal and not violent. Everyone is lying about Islam and Muslims.

Christians can not understand common sense because from childhood in the church they watch a scolded, bloody, tortured man on the cross. In Islam everything is reduced to tolerance, respect and peace. Everybody knows that ISIS and all similar groups have created by Jewish-Christian lobbys. And they are not Muslims and Islam.

cause Khabib assaulted someone in the stands outside the ring and if that goes to court a judge could classify that as a profesional fighter should know his hands are like lethal weapons wich could lead to attempt to man slaughter if used outside match rules. And the dolly vs bus incident would be classified as vandalism towards a bus on a parking lot. by the way Conor did not start it with the Bus incident, before that happend Khabib rolled up on Conor team mate with 20+ people that is why Conor came after Khabib.....not that, that makes it valid for them to missbehave
