tlh1981 Amazonian Magic, with DMT as your pixie dust!!! Rogan has visions, of hunting leopards, after being given Ayahuasca, by an Ancient Shaman. Then Joe brings the Leopard, that he strangled with his bare hands, to the Shaman, only to see that he was the Shaman the whole time....🤪 Great Googily Moogily!!

Damn I can't believe what I read. Is that truly the vision Rogan got from ayahuasca? Sounds like a shaman for sure. In Perú those who use ayahuasca properly are called medics.

While I think your assessment is accurate, it really shouldn't be considered child abuse. Ayahuasca is not addictive, and there are no harmful effects. The only reason we in the West view these in a negative light is because in the 1950s our stupid law enforcement agencies of the time decided that we as a population shouldn't have access to expanded consciousness. More difficult to control the population.

I can walk to the Mississippi River easily in half a day, maybe less.We have mounds on our land that we have gotten hundreds of arrowheads and pottery out of.The one other thing we have had here for a very long time is psilocybin Cubensis and I can tell you from far too many experiences that they are very good and people in my area have been eating them for alot longer than people think. You gotta love a free psychedelic from mother Earth that doesn't require anything other than rinsing and eating.

@@williamdrijver4141 yeah I know,we just call them psilocybin cubensis because that's what causes the trip and is what psylocibe means, containing psilocibyn.I think they found out just like we did, once we found the right ones we just ate them and waited to see what happened and how hard it made us trip and slowly over time figured out the dosage.Which is still tricky since the largest amount of psilocybin is found in the skin/cap, the caps or the actual mycelium contain the most psilocybin, and shrooms the same size and weight can have vastly different effects simply because one has much thicker skin/cap than the others, found that out the hard way, lol! I didn't see any afterlife during my 3-week Ayahuasca experience, just _very direct_ questions and answers. I think it's because I think in rational material terms and I don't interpret symbolism very well, so the Ayahuasca knew to give me straight answers. It was so exciting to ask questions about myself and get real answers.

Mescaline is synthetic peyote. I had similar DMT experience surprisingly it's chemical structure is very similar. The difference is I had a spiritual experience on the canvas of this physical world.....I did not enter the psychedelic world of DMT. However, I had a trip that was very mystical and had a point where I felt a part of it all and then this stump began transforming into different things starting with a court jester. This experience parallels DMT trips quite remarkably.

LSD and mushrooms completely changed my whole outlook on life. I became a better version of myself This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. The main reason for the trip was my severe depression and it definitely helped me (although it's not gone). Before all I could do was lay in bed. Now I am trying to rebuild my life one step at a time which wasn't possible before."

Bro. You can not go to your grave without doing psychedelics. To truly live life you must at the very least try Magic Mushrooms, acid, and then ascend to peyote, then DMT, AND FINALLY AYAHUASCA. Do it for your soul, do it as a factor to yourself. All the richest, powerful, and elite leaders of men have all done psychedelics, just because something is illegal does not mean it is evil ! Look at marijuana - demonized for years. Yet now it is completely legal in Canada ( we can grow our own even) , America is quickly reaching federal legality, Amsterdam has been on that path long before us. Besides psychedelics are completely harmless substances, *IN POINT OF FACT* many , many races and cultures of people consider it medicine. Even more so - the legitimate mainstream academia is beginning to embrace & accept psycadelics as beautiful & powerful medicines. They were doing studies earlier showing how radically effective psychedelics are in all kinds of cases from PTSD, child abuse, sexual abuse, basically people who have really bad mental trauma. I am not sure if it is right now that they have become mainstream medical science and regularly prescribed. But that day is coming soon. Now the thing about psychedelics is that not only do they help people with trauma, but they help people without trauma. It opens their eyes, changes their souls, let’s them analyze their lives & what is truly 8mportant, reveals to you petty deceits, & hinge that may be making you unhappy without you ever even know8jg it ! Basically *GOD* put these medicines here on earth to enable us to heal & awaken spiritually & to truly enjoy life !

My hypothesis is that the ayahuasca’a components were determined when the pioneering natives found banisteriopsis altered the mushroom experience they had had for possibly tens of thousands of years. Then once that was done, new plants were added until dmt rich ones, they found, increased the banisteriopsis/mushroom brew’s dmt-like effects.

One night in early 2020, whilst ill with C-19 I closed my eyes, and I saw the universe around me. I had this overwhelming feeling of eternal happiness, peace and well being. It was the most beautiful situation that I have ever experienced - I've been hunting beautuful sunsets for years. Nothing that I have seen on Earth was even remotely as beautiful as this. It was real. I wasn't dreaming. I shed my fear of dying at this point. I've tried to access this dimension again but to no avail.

this conversation reminds me of an extremely underrated film called 'Altered States'. I consider it a masterpiece and it has had a profound influence on my thinking. This idea of turning oneself 'inside out' in order to get to the ultimate truth about our origins. Anyway, what we have been dealing with for the last several centuries is the clash between the scientific method which gave rise to modern civilization, and what I call, Soul Intuition which is how the ancients came upon much of their wisdom. Well, the clash produced the inevitable outcome of victory for modernism, but the longing for that 'intuitive' past still stirs on in the soul of many a human, (like Hancock). Will it rise up again and find a way to balance things out before the inevitable cataclysm overwhelms our species?? That seems like to me a good question.....,

I want to share my experience with psychedelics. I had a bad experience I want you tell you that first and I want to warn you. My lsd trip went fine, it was all good while on trip, no bad emotions nothing, I even felt good after it fpr a while, but I noticed that my old ego is gone, at first I felt free, but then few "fights" happened with my family, just some hard arguing nothing serious as you might think, no psychical abuse nothing. But my dad kept criticising me every day about some of my flaws and job. He is old and while I understood him that he wants be to work better job then what I choose, I was in total anger because my old emotions toward him were gone. I noticed that I did not have same "comfortable" ego that I was used to have, you know some basoc things like first respect to those that feed you and all that "traditional" things that go hand to hand with family. It all went downhill fast, I made a mistake of judging others because my views on religion and god changed, I felt like I had to make a line between good and bad and to criticise the bad. It all felt reasonable, but because my old me was gone which was comfortable with old ego and had some base emotions, I suddenly changed into angry man. I wasn't tolerant anymore and I was stuck and imprisoned in hatred, lots of hatred. It sucked. I was like that for 3 years and I couldn't pull myself out of it even though I was aware of everything, it just didn't work, because I removed my old "base". Then I tried yoga and I felt more free. On my second lesson, I experienced some lightning like thing that went from my neck to the bottom of my spine. I felt total freedom and my awareness was so good. I was not "in my head" anymore, I felt how other aware people feel, I knew it at that point that there is something to yoga. I think that when I experienced that, some energy mush have flown inside me that washed me of all emotions. Do yoga instead guys and watch sadhguru. He helped me a lot to get over some things and return myself to more normal "traditional" thinking. Now I feel like I have more modern ego, but still, some damage was left and I still tend to criticise a lot. As if some evil force was dictating me how to think, it was crazy 3 years full of anger.

@Lucy Jackson You can't know what will happen after trip, days even months after, maybe even year. These drugs suck because it removes your ego, your "memories", even if they were bad, you learnt something with them, why throw everything away and start "fresh", but you don't start fresh. It is something as skipping, why would you skip your life, your lessons, it is like cheating. I would say it is better to be sober then to do these drugs, at least you will be true to yourself.

It's very interesting that all those different cultures, depicted very similar geometric and astronomic representations. Nevertheless, even if that is true (and I have not checked that), rather than a lost, world-spanning civilization, it would strongly suggest, that those cultures, reached the same states of mind independently, probably because our brains will create similar images, with variety of different psychodelics and rituals. The same way as almost every culture created a body armour for fighting, not because they had been taught about that by some ancient civilization, but because human body is fragile and they wanted to protect themselves. Brains and bodies were practically identical in all human cultures, that's why they were inevitably reaching plenty of identical states and inventions. There is nothing unbelievable about that.
