@@xaikken I think ultimately Joe is a guided-hunt/sleep-in-a-lodge kind of guy, and trekking down to a jungle village to drink a mystery potion, which has up until the last decade or so been the way to have a real Ayahuasca experience, doesn't seem like Joe's bag. Much easier to smoke DMT at a buddy's house after a set at a comedy club...

I did Aya 2019....I had the two serpents wrap around my body until their heads were level with mine, then beautiful flowers poured out of their heads and all of a sudden i shot up into the universe surrounded by infinite stars where i was one with all and all with one...I was filled up with love and was laughing/crying with joy. I saw Thoth, ancient gods, cats, flowers, the matrix grid, light, myy dna codes and symbols...until the 3rd cup, i left my bod thought i was dead and had a panic attack but even that was teaching me . I went to work 2 days later(hadn't told anyone) like flys to a light bulb everyone was drawn to me telling me how good I look, asking me if I had boxot! I felt my self glowing , i was so light I didn;'t touch the ground, i had more energy and was over weight at the time and slowly naturally lost weight as I wasn't over eating. So much healing took place...

Great story and well told. I have drank Ayahuasca on two occassions. The first time as a recovering alcoholic and that entity I purged then shook for four hours feeling turned inside out. By morning I felt the greatest peace ever in my life.

Ron White is one of my favorites. I love that he is taking care of himself and we will have him around longer. Such a gem.

Was on Oxy's for 9yrs,.. took a heroic dose of shrooms,. and the universe told me to get my life together, or i would be in a dark despair that i felt to my soul. I went cold turkey on the pills, got dopesick for 4days using vodka as a crutch. Then i quit drinking,. then I quit sugar, processed foods, and now eat only protein, fruits and low carbs. I meditate, float, workout with kettlebells and do yoga and breathing exercises. I still take psychedelics and use weed products,... but my life is 100x better than it was,.. All thanks to mushies! ~EDIT~ Thank you everyone for all the kind words and shared stories!!!~

that was easily one of the best joe rogan clips ive ever watched in my life. ive been in a similar situation (just at rehab no iowaska) but the people i met there and the conversations we had felt like i was meant to be there like he said. It felt like a big sigh of relief after one of the longest and darkest periods of my life. I'm sure coming off hard drugs had a lot to do with it, but being around people who are focused on your needs and don't judge you is so helpful in every way. i wish we had more access to places like these without having to get to such a bad place to begin with. i wish more places were like that in general. Just beautiful spoken by this man i heard joe say this conversation was great but i had little to no knowledge of who ron white was and im very glad i got here from the theo von iowaska clip im definitely going to listen to this episode now. the way he described it brought me right back to smoking cigs late at night out by the fire all going through a similar journey that we could to relate to eachother with while being on completely different ends of every walk of life. it was beautiful and really helpful to teleport back there for a moment the day after my childhood pet passed away and that blackness is having another go at me as we speak. very much appreciated i think i will return to this video periodically and if you read this whole comment i appreciate you thank you for being interested enough to read what i have to say. you can do hard things. we all can. together.

stay strong, I was clean for 3 years then relapsed. I doubt I will again but there is no denying that drugs feel good and get their hooks into you. You have to try to only remember the bad, and forget any good feelings they gave you. in perspective over time, the bad always outweighs the good.

I can recall the first time I heard and watched Ron do his gig...I was stopping my drinking and he was going full blast...I knew he would finally have my experience and I hoped he would survive and find what was missing...looks like he did...I'm glad when someone makes it.

Jesus Christ. Ron looks so much like my father in this video. He was one of our favorite comedians and we’d recite his jokes all the time. Even called ourselves Tater Salad and Tater Tot. My father passed away in 2021. Thank you so much for the gut busting laughter you gave us, Ron. You’re a legend.

To be frank, I never use the phrase with any malice. But I don’t intend to stop. I understand you have the best of intentions and I appreciate your concern. But to call it depraved is not something I can agree with. And to be perfectly square with you, I don’t understand why this is even I comment I am making on a previous statement about my relationship with my dad and how Ron was a part of my childhood. Some things are better left alone. I’d thank you for that.

This was honestly a really beautiful story. Especially the part about the lady fighting past her demons. Thank you for sharing Ron!

@@hamilt55467 its weird how that can change you. i wonder if its something about having something to associate the trauma to other than the actual traumatic experience. you go have this intense trip. that is completely overwhelming. then when your mind goes back to that trauma it leads you back to the experience of the trip instead. its really interesting. i def feel ive had moment of clarity in a completely whacked out state. moments where i feel like everything is connected. its super strange. i guess i will never understand it

I’ve become obsessed with watching these clips. I don’t think I’ll ever try this stuff but the experiences sound so awesome and intriguing.

Happy to hear Ron stopped drinking I'm sure the family he has wants him to live a complete life. I stopped drugs almost 13 years ago and am grateful everyday. I'm on board for any treatment that can help someone.

I've been on and off drinking, recently taking another break because every time I stop it's because I've drank myself into an atrocious darkness. I'm grateful that I've been able to succeed on my own, but I think a big part of my success has been that I took relatively small amounts of LSD for a week straight, and the consistant buzzed feeling helped with the withdrawls and cravings for alcohol. I've got some undiagnosed and untreated mental health issues, too, and psychadelics have really helped taking the cutting edge off of them. I probably still need standard treatments but it's nice to be able to sort of cope on my own.

It's good to know Ron found peace and experienced the love he did. Here's hoping he continues to experience peace and joy with the understanding he found.

Joe only intervenes to ask questions to clarify the story for the listener and then goes back to active listening. Superb👍🏻

Really good set down talkers make that way easier for him to just guide and listen.. Sometimes he's in dk holes just trying for anything he can use,and other times he already knows about the subjects and just chills....He's probably the best interview guy maybe ever because it's so chill and fun around him from what I can tell...

Ron is a class act. His honesty has transcended his comedy and made him a stellar human being. Glad he gave up the booze, we all want him to live long and prosper!

I ate capansias and mescaline for 11 months in a cave at 11390 feet up pikes peak in Colorado springs to get over my PTSD and literally lived as a cave shaman with a sparce supplies and bow and a Bowie knife and my training it was the game changer for getting my head heart and life back...

I did the same thing in the maroon bells wilderness. Conundrum hot springs behind aspen. You should go there someday if your in Colorado and nearby. That whole hike to and back from the springs is the closest thing to a church I’ve ever ever experienced.

I went to Peru to do Ayuhausca 7 years ago in a guided trip with translators. 90% of people that were in my group were there because of Joe Rogan. I see he continues to send people to the jungle with his podcast.👏👏👏

22 years old and honored to say Ron is gonna be my first ever comedy show🤘

It lasted 8 hours for me, went to rainforest though. I literally passed out, most people in my groups can't get up without help. Sounds like you got a low dose both nights. If you go through the death cycle, where you think you are really dying, then go through the acceptance, then go through the storm then end up 'there', then you have had the experience. Otherwise, you owe it to yourself to try a different group.

In all the years I’ve watched and listened, the only other time I’ve heard Rogan this was quiet was with Bob Lazar

The one thing that became crystal clear to me was that it was just a journey. DEATH was not accurately dealt with or even represented. The reason is simple: Nobody has or can truly die and come back to describe the experience..aya gives u just a glimpse of a deeper life, not a deeper death. Nor can she.

That was great. Love Ron White. Love Joe Rogan. Thanks man.

Watched Ron live in Dodge City Kansas a few years ago. I never laughed so hard in my life. Chappelle and him are national treasures. Lol.

Joe is the best listener I've ever seen. Most people would try to pipe in their own thoughts or questions but Joe just keeps listening. It's hard to do with people who talk slow. We listen, at least, 2X faster than people talk. Our minds then wander and we quit listening. Joe seems to have found a way to just listen.

I’m not like everyone on here promoting psychedelics, but every single time I’ve done LSD, I call it the “squeegee phase” After you do the trip, or the next day, you will have a feeling, like your brain 🧠 was just squeegee’d with a window wiper lol, and it’s the best part of taking it IMO Not trying to say you should try that, but I assure you I know what you’re saying as I too, am getting older, and can relate forsure

I am really happy for him. It is so awesome to see someone Like Ron White get out of the grips of addiction and alcoholism. With the help of Psychedelics. That is a true testimony that they really work. And do dramatic changes that we can't even fathom.
