Depends on how far you go. Before rapping he was just a regular kid with some issues. Then he "changed" into a gangster when the fame started coming. Whole time he sayin this might not have been the right thing to do because this not really him but playing this role is putting food on the table. Then he "changed" and started publicly squashing issues with his "opps" while saying "stop the violence" and giving back to the community. He spent more time not playing gangsta than playing gangsta. I don't think it's an act. Do I think he will complete his vows? No, he probably won't. I don't expect anyone to make big changes in their lives that are easy in a short amount of time. They were made before "stop the violence" tho. Another thing is all of those albums have confliction and positivity in them on side of the gangster stuff. The newest tape and the singles he's been dropping have been less violent and more focused on pain, triumph, and money.
