Those still employed are one or more of the following: (1) Willing to take lower wages, no/low benefits, work 10/12 hrs days, 70+ hour work weeks, 2nd/3rd shift, WkEnd Shifts (2) Excel at what they do (3) Desperate (4) Not skilled enough but can do the job until let go (shh, the company gets rewards/tax breaks for hiring the alloted national ratio of unemployed, race, creed, sex) (5) Willing to do the dirty work. ~BTW: 4 Million is a joke anyone who thinks differently is in denial.

I do not feel sorry for most unemployed people. This comes from my own experience and my dad's. There is NO excuse to be unemployed for years. If you have to take a $10/hr job then do it. I'm college educated and can't find a job in my field. Am I unemployed? No. I have a $10/hr job that is very physically demanding, work 16 hour shifts (including every weekend), drive an hour to work, and I am going to college to get license in a field that is most likely going to end with a decent job.
