Love Joan rocking that short haircut and really digging the punk rock side. Those were the days.

Joan made rock n roll accessible to all artists, male and female. A real pioneer and trail blazer. Love you Joan and keep rocking girl!

There have been many great female rock n roll singers before her (Brenda Lee, Etta James, Janice Martin, Wanda Jackson, Lorrie Collins and more)...she didnt start anything but I do appreciate her music.

this has to be one of my favourite videos because it's just her staring dead into the camera for most of it. Her eye contact is incredible - especially at her shows! I was front row center and she looked dead in my eyes more times than I could count!

I just can't figure out how so much badass can fit into one person.

Ah I think more then anyone Joan was the one who made it clear that rock wasn't a boys only club. I wish more female musicians acknowledged her and used her as inspiration.

This is the best version of the song to me, and the video rules! Joan is a very tough chick, with the short hair and all, and still manages to be so gorgeously feminine! Her beauty here is beyond description, and I love it and her so much!

One of my favorite Joan Jett performances along with AC/DC, Reputation.,Do You wanna Touch me.

Joan's covers often blow the doors off the originals. Not many artists can make that claim.

She's a hack. All of her hits are covers.

This song played during a car commercial that had a little girl "driving" a pretend steering wheel while her parent actually drove. Her face was full of grit and determination, and it seemed like she was loving the speed and g-forces. She reminded me of my daughters and how they taught me that girls can also kick ass. Joan Jett surely blasts the energy on this song like very few others can.

Love Joan Jett and I met Tony Bruno her guitar player in this video. Very nice guy.

I loved Tommy Price.Both a good musician and a fine drummer.

Actually they were on the NYC music scene about the same time \. The Ramones made their break thru about 1974 and Joan Jett made hers with the Runaways about 1975. So they were more peers than anything else. Mutual respect and love for the punk generation I'd say!
