I’m not even particularly into hard rock. Truth be told I’m a 62 year old cellist. I do so enjoy Ace of Spades. So long as it evokes that visceral energy in me I know I’m still alive.

Get a place full of people who have had a skin full and it will be an anywhere fight, someone performed this at a music festival where I lived this festival wasn't just where people went to see bands play people settled scores there, this song played and there was people fighting all over the place

I remember an interview with Lemmy and he said, “Mötorhead is the kind of band that if we moved into the house next to you, your lawn would die.” I miss Lemmy.

The words "legendary" and "iconic" are massively over-used but this piece of music is both. It is just perfect in every way imaginable.

Ace of Spades is a masterpiece of rock and roll, (as Lemmy himself described Motorhead's music). Rest in Peace Lemmy - you were a true outlaw that squeezed every last drop out of life.

I remember the day buying the album, one day after it was released. For 42 years now Motörhead are my favourite band and I wish I could tell Lemmy how much he changed my life. He even once saved it, believe it or not. Almost five years now since he's gone but in my heart he lives on.

He's not dead as long as we remember, recognize, and revere.

14 years old, 8 of november 1980, a underground radiostation played this song, announcing it as " new band". It was like I got hit by lightning. It has followed me all my life, and later on I had the privilege of learning to know Lemmy and even party with him i several occasions. Rest in peace, good times never die.

it's in my "top 3 Rock songs of all time" along with Deep Purple, Smoke on the Water, and the Cult, She Sells Sanctuary, ALL 3 of them, have instantly recognisable, unique, guitar intros. (I originate from Staffordshire, the home of Motorhead and when I created, the MOST ECO FRIENDLY, HARDCORE, EARTHY, organic produce, home delivery company in London, back in 2003, my company's carefully thought out logo was "the Ace of Spades", my "company??" consisted of just 2 people, me, someone that had risked their life TWICE to successfully save 2 peoples lives, and suffers from DOUBLE P.T.S.D, because of THAT and spent time in prison as an innocent person, and my best mate Robin a fully qualified Aerobatics pilot, who spent many years wrongfully banged up in Mental Hospitals, when I showed Robin, the "Ace of Spades" company logo, he just said to me "THAT is FUCKING AWESOME" fully understanding the link between organic farmers, the phrase "Ace of Spades", Motorhead's EARTHYNESS, my companies no nonsense Eco friendliness and my Staffordshire heritage, I'm sure that Lemmy, Fast Eddie and Filthy Animal Taylor, would have approved of THAT logo too).

So my dad is a big metal head and he played motörhead for me all throughout my childhood and eventually i came around to it and even started to like it. today i am a proud metal head just like my dad and i love seeing that new generations are discovering classic bands and the legacy of Lemmy and it’s nice to know rock and roll will never die same for lemmy, his legacy will live on

there are 2 grocery stores in town that have absolute silence when you shop….so..I bring my $200 Bose portable speaker..plug in my iPhone……instant DJ!…..I actually am going to play this soon!….People look around like..where is that music coming from?Then,they see the little speaker in my cart..it sounds a lot louder then it looks!..I get a lot of “thumbs up” usually..but..one night in Target..a black guy started to give me shit...”no one wants to hear that”…I should have said..ah man,I was JUST going to play some ‘Lil Wayne,too!………...NOT!

WOW, I remember when I met Lemmy, once. It was back in '81 in Wichita Falls, TX. I was with my girlfriend in a diner and he walked in with a girl. I remember I was so shocked and I was so scared to go and talk to him that my girlfriend got up and did it. End of the story: me and my girlfriend ate with Lemmy and that girl. Best day ever.
