Johnny was one of a kind, and the animal segments are classics. I'm so glad I was able to watch him growing up. We miss you, Johnny.
When either Joan Embry or Jim Fowler were on it was always brilliant! I'm so glad these clips are here to watch.
I was 9 when I watched this with my mom. Every single night we watched Carson.
The more the world turns to crap, the more it is comforting to watch these and regress to a better time in the seventies when I was like 10 years old

Well, in the 70s we didn't have Fauci to keep us safe, and Biden wasn't president, so today is sooo much better! 😅
This is soo funny and only Johnny Carson could make a person roll on the floor with laughter over animals.
I miss johnny

Remember when some lady brought the chickens on there and the chickens kept crapping all over his desk and how bad it stunk for him. LMFAO
This, and the marmoset on his head are absolutely iconic and forever hilarious. These uploads make a lot of people very happy and I hope they get to earn Carson and others of that TV era new fans forevermore.

Johnny Carson was the god of late night and still is nobody will ever come close to him the animals were hilarious. Buddy Hackett was really funny on there too

I don't about "god" of the tonight show, but he was the greatest and nobody comes close to 2nd. Maybe in the far future there will entertainment like this again, but my generation don't even like good entertainment so there's no hope unless there booze, broads, and guns involved.

Buddy Hackett's jokes that he told when he came on were absolutely hilarious!
In the 1990s those horses were reintroduced into the wild and now are listed as Endangered, which is an improvement from the 1970s
Love Johnny's suit. Look at those lapels!
Johnny is so close to showing himself as an "ordinary guy" here. Not performing. What a treat to see this clip.
Never stand at the south end of a north-facing horse!
Oh this is a classic but it's always fun to watch again. 😊 Thanks.
The animal segments were always great
Classic segment. 🙋🏻♂️🐆
I remember watching this when it first aired. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when Johnny jumped into Ed’s arms.😅
Carson was the BEST ever with animal segments!!!!!😂😂😂😂❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Love Johnny, he was absolutely the best, there will never be another like him!!......Love Ed’s laugh too!!
My dad thought Joan was Hot. Everytime she would be on the Tonight show my mom would say.....Oh your girlfriend is on LOL

Johnny was a good sport
I miss these segments with Johnny and Joan Embry. So much fun to watch.
Geeze I hate to be a Debbie Downer but often watching these Tonight Show clips I can't help but think how sad it is that he died alone from tobacco poisoning. Such a sad ending for such a talented guy. Just my opinion😢
That classic moment ! 7:30
Watching July 2024, i fast forwarded right to the cheetah part lol
There never was nor will there ever be anybody the equal of Johnny Carson
We used to watch Johnny at 11:30 pm. Miss him and the band
A dwarf dude ranch! Lmao
The best part is hearing Ed laugh. He was just the best.
The only Tonight Show I recognize.
CHEETAH DAMM SURE DIDN'T LIKE JOHNNY.

Funny every. single. time.
You have to wonder just how spontaneous these kinds of things were. Ed stood up as Johnny ran toward him. It certainly seemed as though they had rehearsed the jumping into his arms, but they could not possibly have known the cheetah would snap at him like that. It's kind of weird.
Johnny was very entertaining
Plot Twist: CBS hired those Cats...😂😏🎤🐆🐆📺B.W.
❤❤😂😂😂
Great show
Johnny had a little side fling hustle with Joan many years later that outlasted most of his wives who also strangely had the same name. Ed was also in love w/ her. Enchanting woman. Carson was such a great guy. Love to meet them all in Valhalla one day.
The noise and the lights scary the animals
Johnny couldn't have known at the time what a classic that cheetah clip would become. Still getting laughs 50 years later.

One of my favorite Carson clips!
That cheetah's attitude was completely unacceptable. 😂❤
I was a kid when my grandma and i saw this episode...when Johnny jumped into Ed's arms, we both howled like idiots... fortunately, grandpa didn't wake up (got up at 5 for work).
* 6:18 * *You're welcome.*
Johnny Carson was better than Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert put together x 100.
This is when this show was truly entertaining and funny..miss Johnny Carson so much! Now the show is a joke .
Too much noise.
It's unfortunate. I don't watch videos like this, even though it might be great, because I then get nothing but this channel in my feed. It makes me block channels I would probably like seeing occasionally. Marking "not intersted" does nothing.
The present night time host, Jimmy Kimmel, is absolutely NO match for Johnny, not even remotely close. Furthermore, He is disgusting.

Ed while drunk: San Diego Jew….zoo! Joan Embery. And the Mighty Carson…players.
Johnny’s humor is overly cute & annoying. Obviously did not understand animals in the least. 😫😩
Isn't she the next door neighbor kind of babe?
