My mom inspired me to be a nurse someday... she was talking about the profession when I was in Grade 3 until graduating high school. She even told her friends that I am getting the degree soon. Here comes the graduation and I am ready to enroll in a nursing school here in Manila. The day before admission to that nursing school, I was shocked for she is now convincing me to take Pharmacy degree! Hahaha I never heard that there was such a degree! She talked about that for hours as if she is indoctrinating me.. but in the end, mothers know best... Thank God I am now a licensed pharmacist.
“She loved to curse and she used to flex like that, She brought that to America” HAHAHAHAHAHA THIS IS SO FUNNY COZ IT’S TRUE I’m wheezing 😂😂 Our Filipino moms traumatized us since we were kids, that’s why our generation has less spoiled brats lol
As a son of Dominican 🇩🇴 parents this whole thing is super relatable.
My Mom is what we call a FilAm. She was born in the US (Stockton Ca in the late 1940s). My Dad is a true immigrant. Ennis County Clare Ireland. He immigrated with Granny when He was 13 in 1959 to Los Angeles and his two younger sisters. Mom is a nurse practitioner for over 45 years. So, traditional medicine was always provided when we three kids were sick. My Irish Dad, when we kids got sick and he was in charge. He would rub a cut onion on our heads and wipe LISTERINE on our necks and armpits. WTF!!! Hahahaha!

My mom is Mexican and she all use Vick’s on every illness that me and my brothers have experience as of today 😂 😂 it cures for everything for her. 😂
Vick’s is every Latino’s mom cure all too.
The sock over the foot lol my dad to this day does that when he feels like he’s getting a cold
🤣🤣🤣 This is so hilarious!!! What makes this even more hilarious, my grandmother used to do the exact same thing with Vicks. Vicks was the cure to everything 😂😂😂
There's a lot of overlap between Filipina mums and Mexican mums. Damn if they both don't love themselves some Vicks.

Same. Everything is cured at home, unless you're close to dying
We're insainly the same!!! My mom too said "when's my kids showing up", and I said "I'm too poor", and sarcastically, "could I see possibilities from you??!!"
Gets corona: My Philippine grandma: put extra Vick’s on da feet with da sock, and I’ll put extra under your nose.
Well Filipino and Black are the same except we added ginger ale and sleep as the cure to everything

Ahhhh that clip is gold. Have had experience with the cure all powers of Vicks with my pinay wife. Hahahahahahaha.
Omg. I'm crushing on this guy. 1:05 mark, rubbing the vaporub on the bottom of the feet bit😂😂😂, I can attest to this statement, that it's true. Heck the behind the ear application of the vapor🤣🤣🤣
Everything this young man has said is hilarious. If this young man is not 100% correct, I don't know what is. This is cracking me up. Mr Joseph you are awesome😂🎉❤

I had rhinitis growing up, and if I had a runny nose before an exam my mom would put a dollop of Vicks in a bowl of hot water and made me breathe in the fumes with a towel over my head... brings back memories!
Me laughing at comedians.* Jo Koy makes me cry...😂😂😂
