I had a couple Czech friends and they learned English quite well, the sounds in the languages are somewhat similar so the pronunciation is easier too get a hang of. Like “Sam” is alone or, by myself. And In English Sam is a name. So the languages are similar.

Jiri said a lot about his nickname Denisa, but the story behind is that his training stuff tried to mock him calling girl's name, because he was the only one who responded when his trainer shouted loud instruction to the girl called Denisa. It is quite an irony he is such a warrior in the cage and he has this kind of nickname, but it is kind of czech nature in it. We don't take ourselves too much seriously and we have quite sense of humor and in our country it is OK if you try poke(mock) somebody who you are very good friend with.

DENISA - means GODDESS OF WINE, freedom, Mountain of Zeus. Originally from Spanish name Dionysos (Bachus), son on Zeus. Dionysos was known as Liberator - freeing one from normal self, by madness, ecstasy or wine. Established "cult of the souls" and was known for his ability to preside over communication between the living and the dead.

This dude was on my radar after the Oezdemir KO, but then after the Reyes KO I looked up his career highlights and I can say for certain that he is in the top 3 of my favorite current fighters. Hopefully he can learn a little patience because if he gets hit by Jan like he did in the Reyes fight then it won't be a good night for him.

Been a fan of Jiri since the first Rizin GP. I knew he was legit, but I never would have thought I'd see him melting two former title challengers back to back in the UFC like this.
