Jin Kazama Guide (Tekken Tag 2)

Ойындар

FINALLY the guide is done!
You have no idea how much work these things are! Jesus CHRIST! But I finished it! I finished it! Where is my medal?
Now I have guides for all the Mishimas. Not that Jin is a Mishima but he is rather similar.
A big thanks to my father for the artwork!
I hope you guys enjoy the guide!

Okay, Main Man, I gotta be honest with you, those little cinematic intros you make with Kazuya, they're just too epic, you should really consider making a mini series of the untold stories his yakuza type lifestyle in the zaibatsu days and g corp days. Thumbs up to you for these vids too man!!!

If I'm not mistaken on one of his other vids he told the viewers that he's into animation and those intros are custom made, I imagine he doesn't do it as a series because of time constraints, but man are they fun to watch!

Not for being the one to ruin everything, but animation & modelling may take a while. Also, by the looks of it, aside looks good, needs more time to make it better. As someone told me "Make things work good, then make them work better". Not mentioning the voice acting & such things, still, i would support a mini series if he´s willing to with no objections at all.

Man, I am so glad you did a Jin tutorial. Not only is he one of my fav characters, but I feel like your tutorial fits since you are a Mishima player and Jin IS a Mishima afterall. Maybe not considered a Mishima in gameplay but definitely one by bloodline which means imo he deserves to be in the same company. The thing I love about Jin's fighting style is that it just looks so fluid and elegant. Really my friends used to consider Jin bad until I finally started showing them why they should respect/fear Jin in capable hands. The thing I love about his style is that it is not only very effective but cool to watch and very fluid.

I feel like if they buffed his combos (just a little bit) he could become a top tier character. He's still amazing, but his combo damage lacks a lot in comparison to other characters. His lows are punishable but that's not that bad, they're still pretty damaging so it makes up for it. But combo potential is lacking, I think at least.

I've been working to main Jin since DR and went all in by 6 (mostly for my desire for "something different but the same" coming from my strong Mishima background). I really like his wall game. Getting an opponent to the wall without a Bound is a great feeling because then you can nail 123 on the wall for Bound then go into the b+1 stance for a 12 ender. After that there's a nutty mixup you can do with b+1 that can either sweep them or put them right back on the wall for the exact same combo. Sadly this isn't going to work in 7 for lack of Bounds. I'll have to work out a new wall strategy for 7.

He may not rely on them as much as other Mishimas, but the Electric Thrusting Uppercut leads to some of his most damaging combos that can be continued as well as ended with the EWHF. So yeah, I'd say they are a necessity if you plan on mastering him.

If you want to be good with Jin, forget about f+4 and use only f+4,F, d/f, b (the CDS to cd cancel). If done correctly, it's still safe like f+4 alone and if it counters it's easy to follow up with b+2,1 to pick up. If your opponent tries to hopkick you out of the CDS stance and you cancel it in time, just block and shot a 2,4 punish in their face ;)

Oath_Of_Revenge i agreed with you so i dont really get why you repeated the same thing. i get it. i was just saying that if you can get it to the point where you no longer drop the combo, it's worth it. whether or not it is because of axis awareness or execution is beside the point. all in all, it's a matter of preference. i just prefer max damage

I thought the best 10 frame punisher was lee's 1 2 4 . Although it does alot of dmg but has low frame gain when hit and no knock down lowered its rating?

Most probably, yes. It's not just the numbers that count. Jin's 2,4 gives you a wall splat, which is equivalent to around 80 damage for a 10 frame punish. Now take 80 and compare it to Lee's 1,2,4 (is it 34 damage?). The knockdown also gives you a cd mix up.
