Jin Kazama Guide (Tekken Tag 2)
Ойындар
FINALLY the guide is done!
You have no idea how much work these things are! Jesus CHRIST! But I finished it! I finished it! Where is my medal?
Now I have guides for all the Mishimas. Not that Jin is a Mishima but he is rather similar.
A big thanks to my father for the artwork!
I hope you guys enjoy the guide!

And again, The Main Main proves why his Tekken guides are the best on the internet.
This is your best tutorial yet! It's quick, concise, and very informative. Keep it up!
i love that you spent 10 minutes guiding me through the backstory
Okay, Main Man, I gotta be honest with you, those little cinematic intros you make with Kazuya, they're just too epic, you should really consider making a mini series of the untold stories his yakuza type lifestyle in the zaibatsu days and g corp days. Thumbs up to you for these vids too man!!!

If I'm not mistaken on one of his other vids he told the viewers that he's into animation and those intros are custom made, I imagine he doesn't do it as a series because of time constraints, but man are they fun to watch!

Not for being the one to ruin everything, but animation & modelling may take a while. Also, by the looks of it, aside looks good, needs more time to make it better. As someone told me "Make things work good, then make them work better". Not mentioning the voice acting & such things, still, i would support a mini series if he´s willing to with no objections at all.

On behalf of all Jin Kazama players on the rising, thank you for an in-depth - yet, easy to follow, guide. Amazing dude.
You need to bring back these videos dude, I love the character breakdown where you explain the storyline and how to use the character as well
Biologically speaking he is a Mishima
Christmas came early. Thanks TMM. You the man! :D

I didn't even watch it yet.. Bit finally!! I've been waiting fur sooo.. Long! Thanks.
Especially with the introduction and the character appearance analysis. Nicely put together with the cutscenes and the music from Final Fantasy.
Very cool guide TMM. I laughed really hard at the picture of yourself when you were advertising yourself for your donation page. This is a cool guide, makes me want to start playing jin
This is definitely the best guide i have ever seen :) Very well done Main Man ;)
The only best Explanation of what is the story of tekken man. Thanks for atleast doing Jin Kazama's Biography and his very character. this is the first and only one that actually adds up to my questions regarding the series and this character and your words completed it. i can't depend on much sources like wikis etc. +TheMainManSWE
best jin guide ever! especially the intro, he has such an interesting character and thats the best i've ever heard it told.
Great stuff buddy - enjoyed the background story in the beginning :)
Wow, your father's sketch is fabulous! Salute!
Sweet vid frigin marvellous and the FMV intro and ending was (4 lack of a better term) F***N SICK! well worth the wait :D
10:40 Didn't know in T4 Jin could Charge the df,2 in the laser cannon string... They should bring it back in T7 lol. Great video main man, the introduction you did for Jin (And everything else in this guide) is marvelous man!
Yes! I've been waiting for this since I first found your channel! Shame youtube subs didn't work until I manually checked just now..
Hello TheMainManSWE I really enjoyed this video. I also enjoyed the story segment, Jin is my favorite Tekken character. ^_^ thanks for this!
Man, I am so glad you did a Jin tutorial. Not only is he one of my fav characters, but I feel like your tutorial fits since you are a Mishima player and Jin IS a Mishima afterall. Maybe not considered a Mishima in gameplay but definitely one by bloodline which means imo he deserves to be in the same company. The thing I love about Jin's fighting style is that it just looks so fluid and elegant. Really my friends used to consider Jin bad until I finally started showing them why they should respect/fear Jin in capable hands. The thing I love about his style is that it is not only very effective but cool to watch and very fluid.

Hell yeah bro! Jin fighting style is BEAUTIFUL! Look at the evil intent (bf 212) , that move is just amazing! First time i faced a skilled Jin player i think "i need to learn that guy, he is just perfect" xD
Another great vid man good job loved the origin story in the beginning
Awesome guide. I am Jin player, but it is nice we all can learn something new by watching your Mishima guides, so thank you. Anyway, at 4:13 that drawing of Ogre looks so derp lol.
yooo, your story telling along with your choice of music is epic homie lol new to watching your vids but already loving how you slide the ff music in there. A man after my own heart. Subbed fa sho. Keep up the great work. I hope you made that Evolution dream happen, I'm on the same mission for both Tekken and Street Fighter :)
I can now die happy because you have all the guides i need to play better with mishimas thanks mainman you're the best ;)

Amazing guide. I learned alot from this
You deserve more subscribers!!
we should donate to this guy.he makes tekken easier or at least teaches techniques that make us better
Great Job! I'm too busy(lazy) to completely explore a character myself, i need videos like these to hold my hand for when i try and learn a character haha
also this video was awesome.thnx main man that really helped
thank you, i've always wanted to get better with jin
been siing jin since tekken 5 dr and still i am using him thanks to main mans guides! :)
i love your guides gaahhh >-
omg thank you soooo much. I learned alot from your vid. Now my Jin is avenger after only a day xD your awesome
Really nice find with the u/f 1+2 throw
Finally here! Great Guide TMM,thankfully you covered the f+4,f,df,b,db+2,2,3 TA filler part which is one of the most troublesome part of Jin to me.
I feel like if they buffed his combos (just a little bit) he could become a top tier character. He's still amazing, but his combo damage lacks a lot in comparison to other characters. His lows are punishable but that's not that bad, they're still pretty damaging so it makes up for it. But combo potential is lacking, I think at least.
awesome , the last kazuya one helped lots too
you father did a great job with the art...its sick
I really enjoyed the jin kazama guide

Nice videos man.thanks for the hardwork
At last! Thank you very much
I've been working to main Jin since DR and went all in by 6 (mostly for my desire for "something different but the same" coming from my strong Mishima background). I really like his wall game. Getting an opponent to the wall without a Bound is a great feeling because then you can nail 123 on the wall for Bound then go into the b+1 stance for a 12 ender. After that there's a nutty mixup you can do with b+1 that can either sweep them or put them right back on the wall for the exact same combo. Sadly this isn't going to work in 7 for lack of Bounds. I'll have to work out a new wall strategy for 7.
That was awesome. I learned so much =D Time to break out Jin again
YOU'RE A GENIUS!
hey MainMan! Do you know any tag assault opitons with Jin expect the DEWHF and the DDEWHF? Didn't saw them in the vid so please commet bellow some of them please.
Very nice!!!
yess i will b rooting for ya at evo
The savage sword can be a good combo finisher and pressure tool
Very good video. You are the best ;)
Wow the main man doing super well against tolga? lol, tolga is a beast, good job man!
Nice guide! Hao IS the best JIn player in the world! I always watch him
Hey TMM tyvm i've watched HAO alot but have never been able to get in depth analysis and reasons to use each move. But i was wondering, you said "hopefully a partner with tonnes of damage" as Jin's tag partner. Why do you think Hao uses Feng? (who has low combo damage) is it just because its his main?
Cool stuff!
I'm gonna watch this video over and over because Jin is my main character and want to learn more xD
I'm guessing this might be the last tutorial you're doing for TTT2, so great job on this and the other Mishima Guides, TMM. Despite the devil insignia on my profile pic, I don't play Mishimas at the moment because my EWGF execution is garbage. But when I get pretty consistent with it I'll pick up Jin.
Good vid!
Very good video!
You are amazing!
Fun fact about Jin's hitboxes on 24_1+2 for block punishment. 1+2 has less range but if you block Jack's 212 for example, you have to use 1+2.
Hey TMM, what did you use as the theme for Jin's backstory?
Doesn't Jin have the fastest homing move in the game through ws+3? I've heard Levelupyourgame say that a few times.
For his Mix-ups, you could've mentioned that you can cancel his Mental Alertness Stance into a Crouch Dash by pressing d/f. It'll be very good for mix-ups form the CD such as: CD+2, CD+4 and ff+2
What is the song playing in the background at 8:45? It sounds familiar.
Fucking awsome MainMan it help me so much, keep like this!!!
what's the name of the song in the last part? (the credits? I guess)
I'm intending to upload some live matches highlights of mine with Jin back from T6 and TTT2, as he is my main and we share the same martial art. I can assure there will be plenty of the sickest parry delights, electric massacres and insane comebacks, just as you would see in a HAO or CherryBerryMango vid. Y'all just wait; you won't be disappointed. I hope you guys have a great time enjoying T7, as I'm yet to have my PS4. :(

this video is so good there are even little pieces of trivia in the beginning that l didn't know about like hes name is jin because jin means beloved if l ever play tag 2 l will go staight to this video😃
how fast do I have to type in up back 3 4 just to get extra damage on tidal wave?

Is it necessary to learn Electrics while playing Jin? It doesn't seem like he relies on them that much.
@h.t.8710
10 жыл бұрын
He may not rely on them as much as other Mishimas, but the Electric Thrusting Uppercut leads to some of his most damaging combos that can be continued as well as ended with the EWHF. So yeah, I'd say they are a necessity if you plan on mastering him.
@michaeljordao4483
10 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. The eletric sends the enemy far away from you, different than the regular one.
Jin and Kazuya are my fav team in SFT
Great video
all in all, great video
Great video.
I wonder if MainMan even remembers this video lol…he’s come a long way and I will too 🔥🎯
How to do SSL after the dash in the combo section? Its pretty tough.
I just love every Mishima as gameplay chara
Great video mainman. Would love to see a Jin session after this. Also, do you find yourself improving with the character while doing this guids?
Great Video. Question: In your combo section 22:29 it shows Tekken movement, what does SSL stand for after the dash?

Billy Becks m8 you can do It in every Tekken game
If you want to be good with Jin, forget about f+4 and use only f+4,F, d/f, b (the CDS to cd cancel). If done correctly, it's still safe like f+4 alone and if it counters it's easy to follow up with b+2,1 to pick up. If your opponent tries to hopkick you out of the CDS stance and you cancel it in time, just block and shot a 2,4 punish in their face ;)
@Narutou01
10 жыл бұрын
on counter hit f+4,F,d/f,b you can also do b+3,F,1 instead of b+2,1. looks cooler and i think that it does slightly more damage
@OathOfRevenge
10 жыл бұрын
I know, but i'd choose b+2,1 for consistance and wall carry. b+3,F, 1 likes to whiff when off-axis
@Narutou01
10 жыл бұрын
Oath_Of_Revenge true, but if you can get it down consistently it's worth it
@OathOfRevenge
10 жыл бұрын
Dude, the 1 of b+3,F, 1 just whiffs if you're off axis, it's not matter of execution. Even Hao avoids that pick-up :\
@Narutou01
10 жыл бұрын
Oath_Of_Revenge i agreed with you so i dont really get why you repeated the same thing. i get it. i was just saying that if you can get it to the point where you no longer drop the combo, it's worth it. whether or not it is because of axis awareness or execution is beside the point. all in all, it's a matter of preference. i just prefer max damage
I thought the best 10 frame punisher was lee's 1 2 4 . Although it does alot of dmg but has low frame gain when hit and no knock down lowered its rating?
@Seifer_PT
10 жыл бұрын
Most probably, yes. It's not just the numbers that count. Jin's 2,4 gives you a wall splat, which is equivalent to around 80 damage for a 10 frame punish. Now take 80 and compare it to Lee's 1,2,4 (is it 34 damage?). The knockdown also gives you a cd mix up.
Does anyone know how to do jin's alternate ki charge?
