I came across this guitar player in the early 90's playing a radio show to a backing track just him ....and I was like hum this guy's pretty good .....and then he built it ....built it .....built it up and up and I was like omg this guy is awesome ! .....Then I forgot his name ......Almost 20 years later I found him again.....shame on me .....this is the guy ! He builds a solo like no other ! Great stuff :)

Ooooooooh, so good! First time I saw the Nighthawks was in '76, at some saloon in D.C. After that were the epic New Years shows at the Bayou, broadcast on WMAL-FM, many shows in Fredericksburg where I used to drink with Jimmy and the boys. All of them were such good, regular guys with whom I shared a musical passion. I still have a tattered, white Assassins t-shirt. Those were golden times. Far and away, a shitty little bar where you can drink, dance, make out with a chick in the corner while a couple drunks who want to fight get tossed onto the sidewalk is the best way to see blues, rock and everything in between. Jimmy's still getting it, still going off in strange, new orbits, bringing so much delightful joy to the hearts of people. It's been a great ride. Jimmy, you done good. I can't thank you enough. You younger folks need to learn - - support your local musicians. America is packed with them but it's tough making a living playing music. So turn out for performers you never heard of, because today you will see tomorrow's legends and tomorrow will be able to say, "Yeah, I saw those cats when they started out ..." Congratulations to those who put this video together. You did an outstanding job with the sound and video.

Only Thackery could get away with slapping Barden pick-ups and a Floyd Rose on a vintage Strat....too cool.

The bass player looks exactly like a psychotic, homeless parasite that physically assaulted me a few days ago.. But I'm guessing it's not the same guy.

no, the bass player here is not homeless. He has a home. It's called a tour bus.
