What a beautiful and handsome man he was. i live 2 doors away from a couple that knew him as a boy, who would come out to Greenwell Point NSW for fish and chips and to visit with them often. Jimmy Little was truly a beautiful human being.

I grew up in church with this hymn. I learned two versions. Both were wonderful.

Actually, the song dates from MUCH earlier; the pastor who wrote it died in 1953. My aunt and mother [borh 1918 and 1923] grew up harmonizing on it.

Wonderful music, wonderful man, it lifts the spirit of an entire country!

from Oklahoma, USA: I heard this song for the first time by this artist and fell in love with it! love the song and the artist has a great voice and strikes me as the kind of person described in the comments here, a gentleman and considerate of others, sharing the spotlight with his fellow musicians; not every great artist is so thoughtful. He is a great loss for those outside of Australia as well. would love to hear more of his music. am playing this one over and over!
